Rhapsody French Sat, Mar 1, 2025 PARFAIT ET COMPLET Mais il faut que la foi accomplisse parfaitement son œuvre, afin que vous soyez parfaits et accomplis, sans faillir en rien (Jacques 1:4). I l y a deux mots clés que je voudrais que vous remarquiez dans le verset ci-dessus: les mots «parfaits» et «accomplis». Le terme «parfait» vient du mot grec «teleios», qui signifie complet. Le terme «accompli», quant à lui, vient du mot grec «holoklēros» et signifie être complet à tous égards; consommé, une plénitude; rien de ce qui est nécessaire ne manque. Telle est la volonté de Dieu pour vous. Dans Colossiens 4:12 KJV, l'Esprit, par l'apôtre Paul, nous dit quelque chose de remarquable. Il dit: «Épaphras, l'un de vous, serviteur de Christ, vous salue, combattant toujours avec ardeur pour vous dans les prières, afin que vous soyez parfaits et complets dans toute la volonté de Dieu». Encore une fois, le mot «parfait» ici est le mot Grec «teleios». Puis Paul introduit un autre mot, «plēroō» (Grec), traduit par «complet». «Plēroō» signifie être plein, être rempli ou plein à déborder. Il signifie également l'accomplissement, la réalisation d'un but ou l'achèvement de quelque chose. Cela soulève une question importante: plein ou rempli de quoi? Cela nous rappelle la belle prière de l'Esprit par Paul dans Colossiens 1:9, afin que les Chrétiens de Colosses soient remplis, comblés de la connaissance de la volonté de Dieu, en toute sagesse et intelligence spirituelle: «C'est pour cela que nous aussi, depuis le jour où nous en avons été informés, nous ne cessons de prier Dieu pour vous, et de demander que vous soyez remplis de la connaissance de sa volonté, en toute sagesse et intelligence spirituelle.» Le verset 10 qui suit nous indique la raison de cette plénitude dans la connaissance de Sa volonté en toute sagesse et intelligence spirituelle: «Pour marcher d'une manière digne du Seigneur et lui être entièrement agréables, portant des fruits en toutes sortes de bonnes œuvres et croissant par la connaissance de Dieu» (Colossiens 1:10). Pensez-y! Dieu vous veut parfait et accompli; consumé, entier, rempli de la connaissance de Sa volonté afin que vous puissiez vivre une vie qui soit digne de Lui, Lui plaisant à tous égards, en étant féconds en toute bonne œuvre, à mesure que vous augmentez dans la connaissance de Dieu. #KeepSayingIt #3373 Saturday, 1st March 2025 This is my season for exaltation. That favour of God that brings promotion and power now rests upon me. I have been given great power, prosperity, and control. I am rightly positioned for all that the Lord has planned for me this year. God is happy to do me good. He delights in my prosperity, promotion, and my exaltation. I am wondrously and marvelously helped of God. I affirm that good things are coming my way and happening for me and around me because the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. I am continually strengthened with might in my inner man as the anointing of God’s Spirit runs through every fibre of my being, making me sickness and disease-free. I am enjoying life every day in divine health and prosperity; nothing is missing or lacking in me. I belong to God and I only express His virtues because I’ve been perfected for His glory. The glory that I see when I look into the mirror—the Word—is who I am. I am not governed by luck or chance; rather, I walk in the path of victory, promotion, strength, health and excellence, as I navigate my way through life with God’s Word, to the praise and glory of His Name. My heart is flooded with light, and my life filled with brilliance and beauty. I do not fret over the hardship, inflation and evil in today’s world, for they’re not set against me! *Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional* _Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Saturday March 1st 2025_ *PERFECT AND COMPLETE* _*But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing (James 1:4).*_ There’re two key words I want you to notice in the verse above; the words *"perfect" and "entire." The term "perfect" comes from the Greek word “teleios,” which means complete. While "entire," on the other hand, is translated from the Greek word “holokleros”* and it means to be complete in every part; consummate, a wholeness, nothing that is needed is missing. This is the will of God for you. In Colossians 4:12, the Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, tells us something remarkable. He says, *“Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.”* Again, the word “perfect” here is the Greek *“teleios.”* And then Paul introduces another word, *“pleroo”* (Greek), translated as *"complete."* *“Pleroo”* means to be full, to be replete or chockful. It also signifies fulfilment, accomplishing a purpose, or bringing something to completion. This raises an important question: chockful or replete with what? It brings to mind Paul’s beautiful prayer of the Spirit in Colossians 1:9, that the Christians in Colossae may be filled, replete, with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding: *“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.”* Then the ensuing verse 10 tells us the reason for this repleteness in the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding: *“That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God”* (Colossians 1:10). Think about that! God wants you perfect and complete; consummate, whole, replete with the knowledge of His will so that you may live a life that’s worthy of Him and pleases Him in every way, being fruitful in every good work as you increase in the knowledge of God.
