Exercise Nomadic Elephant 2025 The 17th edition of the Joint Military Exercise Nomadic Elephant 2025 between Indian Army & Mongolian Army will be held from 31 May to 13 June 2025 at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The Exercise aims to improve interoperability between both the Armies in conducting non conventional operations in semi urban/ mountainous terrain under the UN mandate. The exercise will foster enhanced military cooperation, strengthen joint operational capabilities and build camaraderie between the Indian Army and the Mongolian Army.

Exercise Nomadic Elephant 2025 The opening ceremony of the 17th edition of the Joint Military Exercise Nomadic Elephant 2025 between India and Mongolia was held today at the Special Forces Training center, Ulaanbaatar. The Exercise is scheduled to be conducted from 31 May to 13 Jun 2025. The exercise is focused on conduct of joint Counter Insurgency and Counter Terrorism operations, facilitating the exchange of best practices, tactics and techniques, thereby enhancing interoperability between the two Armies. The exercise will foster improved mutual understanding & cooperation, strengthen joint operational capabilities enhancing the camaraderie between the Indian Army and the Mongolian Army. #IndiaMongoliaFriendship
