Dean Macpherson, and his accompanying delegation. During their meeting, Avenues of development cooperation between both sides were discussed. The visit included a tour of the #SFD exhibition center, showcasing the Fund's 50-year journey, its most notable development projects, and the impacts of these projects on the lives of beneficiaries. #ProsperTogether #SFD50

#Riyadh | #SFD CEO Mr. Sultan Al-Marshad delivered a keynote speech today during a panel discussion titled “Navigating the Humanitarian, Development and Peace Nexus: Global Efforts, Best Practices, and Strategies”, on the sidelines of the 4th #RIHF. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of unifying joint efforts to achieve development across various developing countries worldwide, focusing on sustainable solutions to address future challenges. Additionally, #SFD Deputy CEO Eng. Faisal Al-Kahtani, participated in the session, showcasing the Fund’s development activities and its integration with humanitarian efforts to achieve a developmental impact in less-developed communities worldwide. #ProsperTogether #SFD50
#Riyadh | On the sidelines of the 4th #RIHF, #SFD CEO Mr. Sultan Al-Marshad, signed a MoU with the @UN Under Secretary-General, UNDP Associate Administrator Mr. Haoliang Xu, regarding the implementation of the grant provided to the Federal Republic of Somalia for the 5th phase of the Saudi Program for Drilling Wells and Rural Development in Africa, with the presence of the Amb. of #Somalia to KSA, Mr. Owais Haji Yusuf Ahmed . The program aims to enhance water access in rural Somalia by drilling wells and building solar-powered water supply networks, contributing to water and food security, providing clean drinking water, combating desertification & water scarcity, and reducing water contamination to support #Somalia progress toward achieving #SDG’s #ProsperTogether #SFD50
