*Update to the composition of the WP Central Executive Committee* The Central Executive Committee (CEC) of The Workers’ Party met on Tuesday 17 June 2025. We wish to announce that the following members have been co-opted into the CEC, with their appointments as follows: - Mr Abdul Muhaimin Bin Abdul Malik (穆海民), Deputy Organising Secretary - Mr Andre Low (刘宇扬), Deputy Head, Media Team - Ms Eileen Chong (蒋佩姗), Youth Wing President - Mr Kenneth Tiong (张文杰), Deputy Treasurer We wish to extend our appreciation to Dr Jamus Lim for his contributions to the development of our Youth Wing, who will be handing over the leadership of the Youth Wing to Ms Eileen Chong. There are no other changes in appointments to the other CEC members, who will continue to be led by Secretary General Mr Pritam Singh and Chair Ms Sylvia Lim, both of whom were elected at the Party’s Cadre Members’ Conference on 30 June 2024. The Workers’ Party is confident that our new CEC members will play a vital role, as we continue to serve Singaporeans and working for Singapore. Thank you. My Workers’ Party colleagues and I — joined by our dedicated Punggol volunteers — kicked off our first house visits since GE2025. We’ve always said this campaign wasn’t just about nine days of rallies and walkabouts. It was about building something deeper: trust, relationships, and a long-term commitment to serve. So as promised, our work on the ground continues. From the overwhelmingly warm support during the elections… To last weekend’s Korban meat distribution… To now, going door-to-door to meet residents personally — We are deeply grateful for the welcome you continue to give us. *-DENNIS TAN-* “We like Hammers too.” 🔨💙 A humourous reminder from a Blk 706 West Ham football team fan when I met him during house visits this week. In my Hougang SMC house visits, I see a lot more physical displays of support for teams like Liverpool or Man U. So it is nice to see West Ham for a change, with, among other paraphernalia, a Paulo Di Canio jersey and West Ham seat cushion covers on display! Full respect from a fellow London club supporter ( I don’t have a Spurs seat cushion cover; just scarf, jerseys, cap, mugs and once my wife got me a Spurs garden gnome !😜) We completed our house visits at Blk 706 Hougang Avenue 2 earlier this week. I am very grateful for your feedback, words of encouragement and all our conversations.
