Rain or shine, our covered linkways make journeys possible for all. Follow Peanut the loyal guide dog and his owner on their heartwarming journeyโ€”where these sheltered connections and supporting infrastructure make every step safer, easier, and more inclusive. At LTA, we are committed to improving journeys for everyone. Thatโ€™s why our teams work tirelessly to build and maintain covered linkways. Connecting MRT/LRT stations, bus interchanges, heavily-used bus stops, and key amenities like schools and healthcare facilities, they create a more accessible Singapore, one step at a time. #WeKeepYourWorldMoving #TravelGuardians _This comic was created with the support of Guide Dogs Singapore_

#PSA ๐ŸŸ ๐Ÿš†All Circle Line (#CCL) stations will close earlier at 11pm from 15 June to 30 July 2025, every Sunday to Wednesday. This is to facilitate the system renewal works needed to ensure compatibility with CCL Stage 6 (#CCL6), which will open in first half of next year. #CloseTheCircle โžก๏ธFurther temporary train service adjustments will be needed to complete systems integration testing. These are tentatively planned from September to December 2025. We will provide more details later. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys in advance. Thank you for your understanding.

This week, we impounded 78 devices during an islandwide enforcement operation targeting non-compliant active mobility (AM) devices in public areas and housing estates. ๐Ÿ‘ฎ This operation is part of our ongoing efforts and preventive measures to address the rising number of fire incidents involving non-compliant AM devices in residential areas. LTA is empowered to take enforcement action against non-compliant Power-Assisted Bicycles (PABs) and Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs). ๐Ÿšซ Under Rule 3 of the Road Traffic (Power-Assisted Bicycles Approval) Rules 2004, it is an offence to keep non-compliant PABs. LTA can impound non-compliant PABs from any location. ๐Ÿšซ Under Section 45 of the Active Mobility Act, LTA can impound devices found on public paths โ€“ including HDB common corridors and stairwells โ€“ that endanger other public path users. ๐Ÿ“ Notices will be issued to owners of impounded registered devices. PABs and e-scooters must be registered with LTA. Owners of unregistered devices can contact LTA for verification and investigation. โš ๏ธ #Reminder Only purchase and use devices and parts (including batteries) from original manufacturers or authorised retailers. Using non-compliant devices is an offence and users may be fined up to $10,000, or face imprisonment up to 6 months, or both. ๐Ÿšซ Learn more with the Be Device-Safe info pack at https://go.gov.sg/bedevicesafe
