ये बात 1911 की है, हकीम अजमल ख़ान लंदन में थे, वहां उनकी मुलाक़ात डॉक्टर मुख़्तार अहमद अंसारी से हुई, डॉक्टर अंसारी ने हकीम साहब की मुलाक़ात अपने एक साथी अंग्रेज़ डॉक्टर स्टेनली बोएड से करवाई, जो इंग्लैंड के एक बहुत मशहूर डॉक्टर थे, डॉ स्टेनली उस समय एक मरीज़ का ऑपरेशन करने जा रहे थे, हकीम साहब ने मरीज़ को देखते ही उसके मर्ज़ को डायग्नोज़ कर लिया, लेकिन अंग्रेज़ डॉक्टर को यक़ीन नहीं हुआ, उसने हकीम साहब को चैलेंज कर दिया, आख़िर ऑपरेशन बाद हकीम साहब सही साबित हुवे; जिसके बाद उस अंग्रेज़ डॉक्टर ने हकीम साहब को अपने घर दावत पर बुलाया। डॉक्टर मुख़्तार अहमद अंसारी साहब ख़ुद इस वाक़ये के गवाह थे। हकीम अजमल ख़ान और डॉक्टर मुख़्तार अहमद अंसारी भारत की जंग ए आज़ादी के अज़ीम रहनुमा थे। और दोनों कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष भी थे। http://heritagetimes.in/a-test-between-the-unani-system-and-the-english-system-of-medicine/ .
