1. Today's 28th Feb 2025 2. Nifty and Banknifty intraday levels posted visit : https://flyingcalls.com 3. Indian equity indices ended with no change in the muted session on February 27 (F&O expiry day) 4. Nifty set to lose for 5th consecutive series, a first since 1996 5. The last time the Nifty endured five consecutive months of decline was between July and November 1996 6. Before that, its longest slide stretched for eight months, From September 1994 to April 1995 7. Nifty50 and Sensex have slumped around 4 percent in February alone 8. Sensex was up 10.31 points or 0.01 percent at 74,612.43 9. Nifty was down 2.50 points or 0.01 percent at 22,545.05 10. Except bank and metal, all other sectoral indices ended in the red 11. Auto, media, energy, capital goods, realty, power down 1-2 percent 12. Midcap index shed 1 percent, and smallcap index fell 2 percent 13. The Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold equities worth Rs 556 crore on February 27 14. However, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought equities worth Rs 1727 crore 15. Trump put an additional 10% tariff on China that 16. Alongside 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico, will go into effect on March 4 17. Chinese policymakers may respond to the new 10% tariff on Friday 18. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq ended sharply lower on Thursday 19. The S&P 500 dropped 1.59% to end the session at 5,861.57 points 20. The Nasdaq tumbled 2.78% to 18,544.42 points 21. Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.45% 22. Dollar index spiked to 107.20 23. The yield on 10-year Treasuries fell 58 basis points to 4.23% 24. Asian markets falling sharply on Feb 28 25. Nikkei down 2.5% and Hangseng down 2% 26. GiftNifty indicates a gap down opening for the index 27. Nifty is facing a intraday resistance 22575 and 22600 28. Above 22600 will try to move 22660 29. On other side, Nifty considering a supports 22500 and 22440 30. To end little changed on February 25 during a volatile session 5. Nifty closed six points lower at 22,547.55 while percent each 6. Sensex was up 147.71 points or 0.20 percent at 74,602.12 7. BSE Mid and Smallcap indices fell 0.5 8. On the sectoral front, IT, metal, oil & gas, energy, capital goods, PSU bank, realty shed 0.5-1 percent 9. while auto, consumer durables, FMCG, telecom rose 0.5 percent each 10. Rupee weakens 43 paise against US dollar from Monday’s close, sees biggest single-day fall in 3 weeks 11. RIL will invest more than ₹50,000 crore in Assam, praises PM Modi for his vision 12. Tata Investment up more than 7%, as Tata Capital board approves IPO 13. Cable & Wires stocks on Ultratech’s foray 14. Financials after RBI Relaxes Risk Weight Norms for NBFC Lending 15. FIIs continued their selling on fifth day in a row, as they sold equities worth Rs 3529 crore on February 25 16. However, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought equities worth Rs 3030 crore 17. US markets ended mixed note on Feb 26 18. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 188.04 points, or 0.43% 19. S&P 500 gained 0.81 points, or 0.01% 20. Nasdaq Composite rose 48.88 points, or 0.26% 21. The yield on 10-year Treasuries gained 36 basis points to 4.27% 22. Dollar index sustains around 106.6 23. Asian markets are mixed opening for the day 24. Nikkei up 0.15% and Hangseng down 0.65% 25. GiftNifty indicates a flat opening for the index 26. Nifty is facing a intraday resistance 22570 and 22620 27. If stays above 22620 will try to move 22660 28. On other side, Nifty considering a supports 22510 and 22475 29.
