📌Important points to keep in mind for last one week before Prelims- 1. No more mocks- Avoid giving any mock tests so that you don’t get under or overconfident due to the marks you get. Also it’s time to switch to PYQs completely. 2. UPSC Previous years paper- Revision of each full length paper of UPSC CSE since 2013 should be done. 3. Last minute notes- Prepare A4 sheet notes for important data/figures/trends/schemes from Eco survey/budget/ CA for last day revision. Also revise History timeline, geography imp maps/locations, Polity map. 4. Revision- Now is the time to focus more upon the revision of your FLTs and PYQs. Static part can be put on hold. 5. Preparation for exam hall- Download admit card, have an idea about the distance to centre and which transport medium would be available early in morning, photo Id mentioned in admit card should be in original form, black ball point pen, 2 photographs (if photo on admit card is not visible) etc should be kept beforehand. 6. Sunny 🌞 SUNDAY- wear light clothes, light colour( preferably white) to protect yourself from heat, keep yourself hydrated, take thermal bottle with you to keep water cold, have chocolate for energy. 7. Body clock- should be moulded according to D-day and it’s timings …most productive time of your day should be from 9:30-11-30 am and 2:30-4:30pm. Special caution ⚠️ to Nightowls. 8. Eat healthy and have a sound sleep of min 7 hours daily And also the day before Exam. 9. Avoid discussing question paper after GS and before CSAT. Its equally important hence make an effective time management strategy for CSAT also. 10. Stay positive- Last but not the least Stay away from all kind of negativity, have faith in yourself. Consider this your first and last attempt . Put all of your energy in this attempt. All the very best 👍

Cut-off Prediction: 83 to 88 for unreserved category students Reason : 1. GS paper was moderate to tough.. pattern slightly changed 2. CSAT is creating problems for many students. Many students are getting good Marks in GS paper but failing in CSAT. Suggestions: All those students who are getting 80+ marks should start preparation for mains (there are fluctuations/variations in answer keys). Last year some students were getting 82 to 85 marks according to answer keys by institutions but they got a chance to write mains (it means, They got higher marks as per upsc key). All the best

• *Advice for candidates who are sure of clearing prelims & those on the borderline* : The period of the next 80 days is the most crucial time of your preparation. So, don't wait for prelims-result. The need of this hour is to make your focus input centric instead of worrying about results. You can complete the remaining portions of the syllabus (like ethics, optional etc.) in the next 10-12 days. Make the best use of each & every second of this crucial phase. Just start the preparation for the mains asap. Do hard work + Smart Work equally. If you're not in this time, then it's okay.. stay motivated, your ultimate aim is to make it onto the list & to join the civil services. If you get yourself fully indulged in Mains preparation, then believe me - your hardwork will not go in vain. It will definitely pay you in the end. *• Advice for all those who are not hopeful of clearing Prelims: * Start preparation with double momentum. Treat this setback as a lesson for next year There are many toppers who didn’t qualify Prelims in their initial attempts. They never lose hope. later they became toppers because of their dedication, determination, perseverance and hard work. Try to find out the reasons behind this score. The problem might be lack of preparation, improper guidance, lack of time management in exam, incomplete syllabus, lack of practice or it might be lack of study materials. Take time to find out mistakes, analyse well and, take steps to Rectify your mistakes. Finally fight back strongly! So, Try to find a way that will turn your dream into reality. All the best ✌️
