With #SWM2025 remaining active widespread heavy to very heavy #Rains likely over Peninsular West Coast. Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and the Ghats in #TamilNadu may see heavy rains at most places. Leewards plains of TN like #Chennai may see at best drizzles. #WxwithCOMK
Like the last couple of days #thunderstorms around Tiruvannamalai / Villupuram dt borders. Gingee getting good #rains. These storms may move towards Chengalpattu dt over the next hour or so. Mostly may not reach #Chennai. At best southern suburbs may see drizzles / light rains #WxwithCOMK
While #SWM2025 will continue to be active thanks to the two circulations on either side of the EW Shear Zone the surge may gradually weaken from today for the next few days. Slight chance for some stray showers in a few places over North Coastal #TamilNadu today. #WxwithCOMK
Though there are two Monsoon lows' the overall dynamics of #SWM2025 for Peninsular #India may remain below par for the next few days. This would mean substantial reduction in #Rains over the Ghats while coastal areas may continue to see on and off spells of rains. #WxwithCOMK
#SWM2025 to remain active along the Peninsular West Coast with widespread heavy #Rains likely. The Ghats in KA, KL & #TamilNadu may see very heavy rains at most places. Thanks to the strong surge some of the leewards plains in South TN may also see moderate rains. #WxwithCOMK
Looks like today the storms may travel ENE unlike the NE direction of yesterday so Chengalpattu dt may benefit more from the storms currently seen over Tiruvannamalai dt. Slight chance for southern suburbs of #Chennai may be in a couple of hours time. #WxwithCOMK
