Here's Ruben Amorim taking his players through a training drill... 🔴

Cunha has a release clause worth £62.5million ($84.4m), which Manchester United have asked to pay over five years rather than the required two, but Wolves expect the contractual requirements to be met. Personal terms are already in place and there is an expectation on all sides that agreements will be finalised for the forward to join Manchester United.

Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium has been given a two-star food hygiene rating after mouse droppings were found in multiple hospitality areas. The inspection report from the Trafford Council, which was completed on April 16, gave recognition that “significant work has taken place to control the mice activity on site” but found that seven different areas of the stadium — including the Ambassador Lounge, the Number 7 Suite and the Devil’s Bar — contained rodent droppings. A number of other issues were highlighted in the report from the environmental health experts, including open containers of condiments that exceeded the recommended label dates of the manufacturer’s instructions. One example highlighted how a pesto container had a ‘one-month’ label on it despite manufacturer instructions to use within eight days. 🔗 https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6385183/?source=whatsappmu

Ruben Amorim has outlined the “advantage” of Manchester United being clear of European football next season by saying it will allow him time to prepare his team for intensity of the Premier League. United have touched down in Kuala Lumpur for the first leg of their post-season tour to Asia, where they will play against ASEAN All Stars on Wednesday before flying to Hong Kong for a friendly on Friday. 🔗 https://nyti.ms/4kvbXKG

Sir Jim Ratcliffe cited a "body language consultant on £175,000 a year" as an example of Manchester United's excess when he justified his cost-cutting regime earlier this year. The identity of that consultant can now be revealed by The Athletic to be Kirsten Heukels. The reality is Heukels’ remarkable work goes beyond that of a “body language consultant” — and her impact at United was felt during their FA Cup triumph in 2023-24, which generated the club millions of pounds in revenues as the win earned them a spot in this season’s Europa League, where they eventually reached the final. After discovering Heukels’ identity, The Athletic travelled to Rotterdam to discuss her work, how she prepared the team for spot-kick success on the way to winning the FA Cup and what she made of Ratcliffe’s comments. 🔗 https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6380839/?source=whatsappmu

🚨 Wolves have given forward Matheus Cunha permission to undergo a medical at Manchester United ahead of a proposed summer transfer.

Antony was a €95m outcast at United but since joining Real Betis he's been one of the best players in Spain. The Brazilian was outstanding in both legs of their Conference League semi-final against Fiorentina and broke down in tears at the full-time whistle. Betis would love to keep him and another loan is possible, but it is pending the outcome of a Greater Manchester Police investigation into alleged assault and a permanent deal would cost the Seville club at least €38m. 🔗 https://nyti.ms/4kdj6zz
