*Let’s discuss how you can find clients and convince them to work with you.* Why should you pitch to US startups❓ Why not US MNCs or other larger companies❓
However, remember to reach out to startups that are not already big, preferably pre-series A, with under 20 members. These startups badly need help, and any help is welcome. Eventually when they raise more investments, grow bigger, will they not rely on you as they will be hungry for people they can rely on❓ *Apart from US startups, you can also target international startups from other developed countries which want to expand to the US market* A word of caution here, this is a great way to hit it off with international clients, but getting further work will depend entirely on your efficiency with assigned tasks.
*Because in the beginning other big companies will not take a chance with you.* There are 3 million startups in the US, and it is not feasible for them to hire services of the Big Four or other CPA firms or talent in the US as it is not economical for them. At the same time they are growing fast and they don’t want to (and can’t afford to) go wrong with tax or compliance work. *As an Indian tax, compliance or finance professional you are the right mix of talent + cost advantage.* This market can offer you *3x more earnings* than what you would even earn slogging off in an MNC in India.
This works only if you can deliver results and not waste their time. *Once you have worked with US startups, you can use this track record to get opportunities with small law firms, small CPA firms, US corporate secretaries, etc.* If you have also worked for a few clients on Upwork, you can show their testimonials as well These are tried and tested methods with which we have helped nearly 500+ learners secure remote jobs with international clients. *In fact some of them are now employed full time with these clients, earning in thousands of dollars.*
