*_Preacherman's New Song Sparks Reflection on Divorce and Parental Responsibility_* 24 May 2025 *By Charles Hami* Kudzai Dutiro, known to his fans as Preacherman, a Glen View-based artist, has released a new song that tackles the sensitive topic of divorce and its impact on children. The song, titled "Kurambana," sheds light on the often-overlooked pain and suffering that children endure when their parents separate. > Follow The BGG News on WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaZpsH71noz7ubzdaY2y *A Message from the Heart* In an interview with The BGG News, Preacherman explained that the song was inspired by the way parents often forget about their children's well-being during divorce proceedings. "As parents, we are forgetting the third part, which is our children," he said. "They feel the pain of divorce even though they are not in a love relationship with anyone. They feel the pain more than us, because they suffer for no reason." *A Difficult but Necessary Conversation* Preacherman described the creative process behind the song as a "hard meditation" because it tackles a topic that many people do not want to hear. "Most people do not want to be told about their failures or mistakes," he said. *Mixed Reactions* Expected Despite the potential backlash, Preacherman believes that his fans will appreciate the honesty and vulnerability in his music. "I know most of them will like it, but hate it at the same time because their weaknesses are being mentioned and unfolded," he said. *Music as Healing* Preacherman and his team will be visiting Chinhoyi Prison and Chinhoyi Radio Station on May 31, 2025, as part of their music outreach program. "Music heals," he said, highlighting the importance of using his platform to bring people together and spark meaningful conversations. Fans of Preacherman may recall his impactful song "Testimony," shown above, and now "Kurambana" is set to inspire reflection and conversation. Stay in tune with The BGG News as we will be sharing the new video for "Kurambana" soon!

*Trabablas Interchange Sparks Widespread Frustration Among Drivers* 4June 2025 *By Charles Hami* The newly commissioned Trabablas Interchange in Harare has become a source of frustration for motorists. Despite its intention to ease congestion, the interchange has been plagued by complaints of poor design, unclear road signage, and confusion. > Follow The BGG News on WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaZpsH71noz7ubzdaY2y Drivers have taken to social media to express their struggles with navigating the interchange, citing unclear directions and inadequate signage. Many have questioned the quality and planning of the project, which has been shrouded in controversy. Some commuter omnibus drivers expressed their concerns, saying that the signs were either missing, too small, or placed in the wrong positions, making it difficult for people to drive properly. They added that the issue lay with the system's failure rather than drivers' inability to read signs. Others raised questions about the project's planning and execution, speculating that it might have been rushed for optics. A local resident wondered if a proper traffic flow study had been done, given the millions spent on the project. Government officials have yet to address the concerns or propose corrective measures. The Trabablas Interchange was commissioned last week as part of efforts to alleviate traffic congestion in Harare's southern part .
