📌 CSIR-IIP : Basic Skill Development Programme on Analysis with Elemental, Microscopic and Thermo-Gravimetric Tools, 16-27 June 2025, CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum (CSIR-IIP), Dehradun-248005, Uttarakhand CSIR-IIP has state-of-the-art R&D facilities, experienced and qualified staff and the institute maintains its leading position in conducting training programs for the personnel from refining, petrochemical, automotive, power and related user industry. More than 10,000 personnel from India and abroad have been trained. CSIR-IIP conducts skill development programs under ‘CSIR Integrated Skill Initiatives(ISI) applications are invited from eligible participants for Basic Skill Development Training Program on Analysis with Elemental, Microscopic and Thermo-gravimetric tools. Our Analytical Sciences Division is equipped with range of analytical instruments and our Scientists having vast knowledge and Working Experience. The participants will acquire a broad working knowledge of various Elemental, Microscopic and Thermo-gravimetric analytical techniques (AAS, ICP-OES, SEM/ TEM, TGA/DSC & Powder XRD). Objectives: Training is aimed at providing in depth knowledge and hands on experience on AAS, ICP-OES, SEM/ TEM, TGA/DSC & XRD techniques to those new to the R&D institute/industry or wish to develop their career further in the relevant QA/ QC area with more strengthened analytical approach. After Successful Completion: With exposure to advanced analytical instrumental facilities backed by theoretical clarity, a person will be able to develop a precise evaluation approach for research and development activities/quality compliances besides running routine analytical tests depending upon individual’s ability and dedication in learning the skill.
