We all carry different tests. And just as we're all given different strengths some people are gifted with the discipline to pray tahajjud regularly, others with a tongue constantly in dhikr, others with a heart that's drawn to helping people. We're also tested in ways tailored to us. What's easy for you might be a mountain for someone else. Maybe salah comes easy to you, but you struggle with envy. Maybe hijab is second nature, but you battle your ego in silence. Maybe you give a lot in charity but can't seem to lower your gaze. And maybe your struggle isn't visible to anyone... except Allah
Sometimes the peace youāre searching for doesnāt come from fixing everythingāsometimes, it comes from quietly trusting Allah even when nothing makes sense. Let today be gentle. Breathe slowly. Speak kindly. Pray sincerely. And remember: even if the world feels loud, your heart can still be calm when itās connected to the One who never leaves.
Have you ever noticed how some duāas never fade from your heart? No matter how much time passes, they still feel freshāstill full of hope. Itās like Allah planted them there not just to be answered, but to keep you connected to Him. You may not understand the delay, but your heart somehow still believes. And that belief⦠is a sign that He hasnāt forgotten. One day, without warning, it will all make sense.
You donāt have to be perfect to turn back to Allah. You just have to be sincere. Shaytaan makes you feel like your sins are too heavy, like youāve messed up too many timesābut thatās a lie. Allahās mercy is far greater than your mistakes. The door of tawbah is always open, no matter how far youāve gone. Donāt wait until you feel āreadyā to returnāstart now, in the middle of the mess, with the little strength you have left. A single moment of sincere repentance can change your entire path. Allah loves those who keep coming back, even if itās again and again. So donāt give up on yourselfāAllah never does.
Some days, your heart will feel heavy for no reason. Youāll feel distant, disconnected ā even when youāre doing all the right things. Praying, making duāa, trying to stay close to Allah⦠but still, thereās an emptiness you canāt explain. And thatās okay. Iāve learned that not every day will feel spiritually fulfilling. Some days will feel like youāre just holding on. But that in itself is an act of worship ā holding on. Not giving up. Still turning to Allah, even when it doesnāt feel the same. Still showing up in your prayer, even when your heart is quiet. So donāt let these low days make you feel like youāre failing. Your efforts still matter. Your quiet tears are still seen. And your heart ā even when itās tired ā is still so loved by Allah. Keep going.
Dhul Hijjah is almost hereāthe most beloved 10 days to Allah. More reward. More mercy. More forgiveness. Even if youāve felt distant, this is your moment to come back. Fast if you can, especially on the Day of Arafah. Say more SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar. Give. Pray. Reflect. These days arenāt just about ritualsātheyāre a chance to soften your heart and reconnect with the One whoās always been waiting for you. Donāt miss it. š¤
The ten days of Dhul Hijjah are hereāa time loved by Allah more than any other. A time when every act of worship, no matter how small, carries immense weight. These are the days when the Prophet ļ·ŗ said that good deeds are more beloved to Allah than in any other days. So remind your heart: this is your chance. Your chance to return, to repent, to reconnect. Whether itās through fasting, prayer, dhikr, giving charity, or simply being more mindful of your Creatorāmake every moment count. You may not be on Hajj, but Allah still sees you, hears you, and calls you to Him. Donāt let these sacred days pass like any other. Let them change you, soften you, and bring you closer to the One who never gave up on you.
Sometimes, Allah keeps certain doors closed not to punish you, but to protect you. You may not see it now, but there is wisdom in every delay, every silence, and every unanswered duāa. Trust Himābecause what He has written for you is far greater than what youāre chasing. Be patient, stay grateful, and keep walking with faith. Your time is coming, in ways better than you imagined.
Recite "Astagfirullah" everytime. Do it with Yaqeen, trust that Allah will resolve everything for you, and be patient. And In Sha Allah, very soon Allah will open all the doors that you badly wanted them to open. Marriage, job, kids, etc.
Sometimes, the things we beg Allah for are the very things He protects us from. Not because He doesnāt love usābut because He knows what we donāt. When He says āno,ā itās not rejection. Itās redirection. A form of divine care wrapped in wisdom we may not yet understand. Trust Him. He sees the whole storyāwhile we only see a page.
