*LIFE AS A CHRISTIAN: THE FAITH* For many, Christianity is just going to church on Sundays. For others, it is about being raised in a Christian home and dancing to the music of strict Christian parents, or filling out 'Christian' in an application that requests religion. I can’t forget the sanctimonious piosity of many tagged ‘Chrife’. It is really an interesting one hearing the views people hold about Life with Christ. Beyond all of these, I believe Christianity is a life of faith, faith in the only begotten son of Yahweh. It is; 1. Faith in Christ Jesus; one which produces spiritual transformation and renewal. 2. Faith characterized by an outward and evident desire for righteousness and fellowship with those who belong. 3. Faith to practice godliness in a crooked and perverted world. 3. Faith to be an ambassador of Christ’s Kingdom in a worldly domain. When Paul wrote in Romans 1:17, “… the just shall live by faith”, it made absolute sense because Christianity, a faith, is accessed through faith and practiced by faith. Yeah, faith that produces righteousness; real, genuine and tangible transformation. *So, for every believer, living the Christian life means living each day by the practice of faith; faith to take the right decisions, faith to refuse what is wrong, faith to resist deception, faith to become what God has purposed, faith to be healed, faith to complete your education, faith to secure a job, faith to get that scholarship, faith to acquire promotion, faith to get married, faith to do all that there is.* Of a truth, *without faith it is impossible to please the God of this faith*. Take a good look at the photo above, can you guess what is happening? I will not know, but I hope your guess is right. These are 11-12 year olds practicing how to lead a friend to Christ. Isn't it beautiful? Over the past few months, these friends of mine have been doing some serious learning😂. They are getting ready to graduate from the children's church to the youth church and so in addition to studying several books of the bible, they are required to know how to lead a friend to Christ. In fact, they will be taken to a community to evangelize and so they needed to learn how to win souls. You can imagine how the lessons went😂. Many Christian adults struggle with this and so for us, we teach them to do it right from childhood and the testimonies have been amazing over the years. What excites me most is the passion and energy the kids put to it. They really put in some good efforts and it has always been worth the efforts. So what's the point here? Please listen to me, if these eleven and twelve year olds are going to be soul winners, what stops you, who is in your teens, twenties, thirties and above? You can't just be warming seats in church oo😒. My brother, my sister, you need to take this Kingdom business more seriously. *Check Proverbs 11:30, ... He who wins souls is wise. Don't refuse this path of wisdom, you have souls to bring to the kingdom, you better sit up*.... let me stop here... I greet you all 😎🇬🇭. Shalom!
