Priyadarshini

Dr. Priyadarshini is a Singaporean-Indian Playback Singer. She has sung for 180++ movies in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam & Hindi & other languages. She is credited to be the first playback singer in India to carry out Ph.D research in 100 years of Indian film music and receive a doctorate from University of Mysore. Dr. Priyadarshini is a live performer, music researcher, music educator and an author. She is the Co-Founder & Managing Director of PRISM Music Foundation & Recording Studios. She has also lent her voice for more than 600 songs for Private, Devotional Albums and Jingles. Priyadarshini did her Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She also holds a Master's Degree in Classical Music from University of Madras. She completed her Western Music from Royal Schools of Music, London. She is also trained in Hindustani classical Music.
