في إطار سعي جامعة المعارف للعلوم التطبيقية لبناء علاقات التعاون مع المؤسسات المجتمعية التي تُعنى بالتعليم والتدريب المهني، استضافت مدير أكاديمية فرص للتدريب المهني الدكتور يوسف منافيخي والوفد المرافق له، حيث تعرف الوفد خلال زيارته على البنية التحتية في الجامعة وبرامجها المختلفة، كما تم مناقشة آفاق التعاون فيما يتعلق بتقديم خدمات التدريب المهني مابين الأكاديمية والمركز الاستشاري في الجامعة. As part of its ongoing efforts to build collaborative relationships with community institutions dedicated to education and vocational training, Maaref University of Applied Sciences hosted Dr. Youssef Manafikhi, Director of the Opportunities Vocational Training Academy, along with his accompanying delegation. During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the university’s infrastructure and various academic programs. The meeting also included discussions on potential avenues for collaboration between the academy and the university’s consultation center in the field of vocational training services.
As part of Al Maaref University for Applied Sciences' efforts to achieve its vision of improving the quality of higher education in Syria, enhancing international academic cooperation, developing scientific research, and expanding the horizons of institutional partnerships, Al Maaref University for Applied Sciences, in a strategic move, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Iqra National University in Peshawar, Pakistan. This partnership establishes a joint framework for developing academic programs, exchanging students and faculty members, and implementing joint research projects, along with integrated efforts in the areas of quality, accreditation, and community service. This partnership represents an important milestone toward opening up to the international academic community, providing broader opportunities for students and researchers, and strengthening the university's position as an educational institution active in developing the local and international community.
طلاب قسم الكيمياء التطبيقية في جامعة المعارف للعلوم التطبيقية يتقدمون لامتحان العملي لمقرر الكيمياء العامة للفصل الثاني من العام الدراسي 2024-2025 ، جرى الامتحان وسط أجواء منظمة وتحت إشراف الهيئة التعليمية، بهدف تقييم المهارات التطبيقية وتعزيز الجانب العملي لدى الطلاب. Students of the Department of Applied Chemistry at Al Maaref University of Applied Sciences are taking the practical exam for the General Chemistry course for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. The exam was conducted in an organized atmosphere and under the supervision of the teaching staff, with the aim of assessing practical skills and enhancing the practical aspect of students.
بدء امتحانات الفصل الدراسي الثاني في جامعة المعارف للعلوم التطبيقية، تعمل الجامعة على إجراء بعض الامتحانات بنظام الـ Open Book هو تجربة فكرية راقية، لا تختبر ما خزنه الطالب من معلومات، بل ما امتلكه من فهم وعمق، وقدرة على توظيف المعرفة بذكاء. إنه ليس امتحان للعقل الحافظ، بل للعقل المفكر، حيث تصبح الكتب وسيلة لا غاية، ويُصبح الطالب باحثًا، محللًا، وصاحب رؤية. في هذا النظام، نحاول الابتعاد عن التلقين والحفظ التقليدي. Second-semester exams starts at Al Maaref University for Applied Sciences has begun. The university is conducting some exams using the Open Book system. This is a sophisticated intellectual experience that tests not the student's memorization of information, but rather their understanding, depth, and ability to apply knowledge intelligently. It is not a test of the memorizing mind, but of the thinking mind, where books become a means, not an end, and the student becomes a researcher, analyst, and visionary. With this system, we strive to move away from traditional indoctrination and rote learning.
