The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has distanced itself from the statement of Lieutenant General Sumer Ivan D’Cunha, Director General of Army Air Defence, that guns were deployed on the premises of Darbar Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple, as Pakistan, in response to Operation Sindoor, aimed to attack the Sikh holy shrine in the center of Amritsar. The Army later clarified that no guns were deployed. The Central Sikh Museum has preserved the story of an Army officer who is applauded for ‘defying Delhi orders’ to save Amritsar during the 1965 war. The story passed down through generations in Punjab is that, alarmed by the scale of the attack by Pakistan, the Army leadership in Delhi ordered a retreat behind the Beas River — a move that would have left Amritsar and the Darbar Sahib at risk of being overrun. Lieutenant General Harbaksh Singh defied the order. His leadership proved decisive. The Indian forces held their position, repelled the Pakistani assault, and safeguarded Punjab from deeper incursion. Though some attempted to question his insubordination after the war, Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri firmly stood by Lieutenant General Harbaksh Singh, recognising his judgment and valour. In 1966, the government honoured him with the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian award. In 2016, then SGPC president Kirpal Singh Badungar, while announcing that his portrait would be installed at the Central Sikh Museum, said, “Lieutenant General Harbaksh Singh, who was commandant of the Army unit, showed exemplary confidence during the war and played a key role in defeating Pakistani troops. It was due to him that Pakistan could not touch Amritsar. Otherwise, his seniors from Delhi had ordered him to step back to the Beas river — but he did not take these orders and stood his ground to fight Pakistan. Because he knew that stepping back would mean giving Amritsar to Pakistan. His bravery is a source of inspiration for youth. ਪੰਜਾਬੀ + English *Third NSA Detention: What’s the Case Against Amritpal Singh?* In the third detention order issued against Waris Punjab De chief and Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh, it is alleged that he continued engaging in the very activities from Dibrugarh Jail that his initial detention was meant to prevent. Amritpal Singh was first sent to Dibrugarh Jail in 2023 under the National Security Act (NSA). At the time, the grounds cited were that his public activities were disturbing law and order in Punjab and that he posed a serious threat to state security. His NSA detention was extended in 2024, citing protests by his supporters demanding his release, which were seen as a security threat that could escalate if he were freed. However, the third NSA order issued in 2025 goes further, alleging that during his first two years of NSA detention, Amritpal Singh orchestrated criminal activities from inside jail using the internet. According to Punjab Police, Amritpal Singh’s sympathisers allegedly compiled a list of 15 individuals associated with both pro-Khalistan and anti-Khalistan ideologies, including some individuals reportedly suspected by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The second year of Amritpal Singh’s detention was marked by dramatic events. On one hand, he was elected as Member of Parliament from Khadoor Sahib in the 2024 general elections and went on to form a political party, Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De). On the other hand, during the same period, he was also booked for the murder of his former associate, Gurpreet Singh Harinau. Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De) spokesperson and lawyer Imaan Singh Khara stated, “All these allegations are false. Amritpal Singh has no phone. He is in a high-security jail. He can only make calls from the jail superintendent’s landline office phone, and those calls are recorded. He has no internet or phone access in jail.” On October 9, 2024, Gurpreet Singh Harinau was shot dead by unidentified men. His murder became the primary ground for the third NSA order. The NSA detention order includes a letter dated October 12, 2024, from the Intelligence Wing of Punjab Police, alerting police and civil administration in all districts about the alleged list prepared by Amritpal Singh’s sympathisers. Gurpreet Singh Harinau was allegedly killed based on this list, which, according to the letter, also outlined plans to assassinate the remaining individuals. The FIR in Harinau’s murder accuses Amritpal Singh of orchestrating the killing from Dibrugarh Jail through his alleged links with gangster Arsh Dalla. One of the names on the alleged list had contested the election against Amritpal Singh in Khadoor Sahib. While the individual received less than 1500 votes, Amritpal Singh secured nearly 400,000 — the largest winning margin among Punjab’s 13 seats. “He (the candidate) was ‘personally’ threatened by Amritpal Singh,” the NSA order states. Another statement, recorded during the investigation into Harinau’s murder, was used to justify the third NSA order. The individual claimed prior acquaintance with both Amritpal Singh and UK-based Khalistani separatist Avtar Singh Khanda. He alleged that Amritpal Singh remained in touch with Khanda even while in jail. Khanda died in June 2023. The statement, included in the NSA order, reads: “Chief leader of the core committee of Waris Punjab De, Bhai Avtar Singh Khanda (UK), remained in regular contact with me and even attempted to mediate a reconciliation between us after Amritpal Singh’s arrest. Through his Zangi app number 1048803876, Khanda arranged a telephonic conversation between me and Amritpal Singh, during which Amritpal suggested we set aside past differences and work together in the future.” This statement suggests Amritpal Singh allegedly had internet access in Dibrugarh Jail shortly after he was detained under the NSA in 2023. The NSA order states: “While detained under the NSA in Dibrugarh Jail in 2023, Amritpal Singh maintained contact with Khanda.” Amritpal was sent to Dibrugarh in April 2023, and Khanda died in June 2023. According to the NSA order, the alleged list prepared by Amritpal Singh’s sympathisers includes a lawyer who was recently raided by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Amritpal Singh’s sympathisers allegedly want to target a former Sikh militant. In addition, the alleged list also includes the name of a lawyer associated with a pro-Khalistan party. This list contains many names that are either pro-Khalistan or sympathetic to the Khalistan cause. However, there are also one or two anti-Khalistan names included. “There is no such list. These are stories created by the police to extend the NSA for another year,” said Imaan Singh. On February 16, 2025, the Anandpur Khalsa Fouj (AKF) International Association was formed by overseas Sikh youths at Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey, Canada, with the aim of establishing “Khalsa Raj” in the form of Khalistan. The NSA order states that AKF claimed its formation followed the directions of Amritpal Singh (MP Khadoor Sahib and chief of Waris Punjab De, currently lodged in Dibrugarh Jail). Their resolutions included demands for arms training, surrounding Indian embassies over Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s killing, and urging former Sikh soldiers abroad to train Punjab youth in guerrilla warfare. “We have no connection with any such cell formed in Canada. ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਰਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਖ਼ਤਰਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਧ ਸਕਦਾ। ਪਰ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਜੇ ਐਨਐਸਏ ਐਕਟ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਪਣੀ NSA ਨਜ਼ਰਬੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਹੀ ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਹਮਦਰਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਪੱਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਧਾਰਵਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਰੀਨੌ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਵੀ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ (ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ) ਦੇ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਕੀਲ ਇਮਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਰਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਝੂਠੇ ਹਨ। ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਉੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਾਲੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਸੁਪਰਡੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈਂਡਲਾਈਨ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਾਲ ਵੀ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਜਾਂ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।" 09.10.2024 ਨੂੰ, ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਰੀਨੌ ਦੀ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਐਨਐਸਏ ਦੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਧਾਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਐਨਐਸਏ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਵਿੰਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ 12.10.2024 ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਨੱਥੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਵਲ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਕਥਿਤ ਸੂਚੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਹਮਦਰਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਰੀਨੌ ਨੂੰ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ 'ਇਹ ਸਮੂਹ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।' ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਐਫਆਈਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ 'ਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਅਰਸ਼ ਡੱਲਾ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਇੱਕ ਨਾਮ ਨੇ ਖਡੂਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਚੋਣ ਵੀ ਲੜੀ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤੀਆਂ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਭੱਗ ਚਾਰ ਲੱਖ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਾ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਤੋਂ ਫਰਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ 13 ਸੀਟਾਂ ‘ਚੋਂ ਸੱਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸੀ। “ਉਸਨੇ ਨੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਸਨੂੰ 'ਨਿੱਜੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ' ਧਮਕੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ,” ਅਜਿਹਾ ਐਨਐਸਏ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਵਿਆਕਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਚੋਣ ਲੜੀ ਸੀ। ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਰੀਨੌ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਇੱਕ ਬਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਐਨਐਸਏ ਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਆਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਕੇ-ਅਧਾਰਤ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਵੱਖਵਾਦੀ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੰਡਾ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿਆਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਜੇਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੰਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਰਹੀ। ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੰਡੇ ਦੀ ਜੂਨ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿਆਕਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ‘ਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਚ ਐਨਆਈਏ ਛਾਪਾ ਵੀ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ, ਦਾ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਐਨਐਸਏ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ‘ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, “ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਦੀ ਕੋਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਗੂ ਭਾਈ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੰਡਾ (ਯੂ.ਕੇ.) ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਭਾਈ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੰਡਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜ਼ੰਗੀ (Zangi) ਐਪ ਨੰਬਰ 1048803876 ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਟੈਲੀਫੋਨ 'ਤੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਚਰਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਤਭੇਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੂਹਿਕ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ।” ਇਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਨੂੰ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਐਨਐਸਏ ਅਧੀਨ ਨਜ਼ਰਬੰਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਬਾਅਦ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਤੱਕ ਕਥਿਤ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸੀ। "2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ NSA ਅਧੀਨ ਨਜ਼ਰਬੰਦ ਹੋਣ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਖੰਡਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਿਆ," ਅਜਿਹਾ ਐਨਐਸਏ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੂਨ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੰਡਾ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਐਨਐਸਏ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਹਮਦਰਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੌਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਕਥਿਤ ਸੂਚੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਕੀਲ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ 'ਤੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਏਜੰਸੀ (ਐਨਆਈਏ) ਨੇ ਛਾਪਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਹਮਦਰਦ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਖਾੜਕੂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਇਸ ਕਥਿਤ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਪੱਖੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਵਕੀਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਾਮ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਜਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਖ਼ਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਪੱਖੀ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਰਦੀ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਇੱਕਾ ਦੁੱਕਾ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਨਾਮ ਵੀ ਹਨ। "ਅਜਿਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਸੂਚੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਐਨਐਸਏ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ," ਇਮਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ। 16.02.2025 ਨੂੰ, ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਫੌਜ (ਏਕੇਐਫ) ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਗਠਨ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਸਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ "ਖਾਲਸਾ ਰਾਜ" ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ। ਐਨਐਸਏ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਏਕੇਐਫ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ (ਐਮਪੀ ਖਡੂਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ, ਜੋ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ) ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਮਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਿੱਝਰ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ, ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਦੂਤਾਵਾਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ। ਏਕੇਐਫ ਨੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੀਲਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਦੇਣ। “ਸਾਡਾ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸੈੱਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਸਬੰਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਹੈ,” ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਇਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ।
