लाखों BSNL यूजर्स के लिए लंबे समय से इंतज़ार की घड़ी आखिरकार खत्म हो गई है। सरकारी टेलीकॉम कंपनी बीएसएनएल ने अपनी अगली पीढ़ी की 5जी सेवा ‘Quantum 5G’ (Q-5G) का सॉफ्ट लॉन्च कर दिया है। यूज़र्स के सुझावों के आधार पर इस सेवा को “क्वांटम 5G” नाम दिया गया है। हालांकि यह सेवा फिलहाल केवल सीमित दायरे में शुरुआती चरण (Soft Launch Phase) में है और इसका पूरा कमर्शियल लॉन्च अभी नहीं हुआ है। BSNL ने अपने आधिकारिक X हैंडल पर जानकारी साझा करते हुए बताया कि कंपनी के चेयरमैन और मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर (CMD) श्री ए. रॉबर्ट जे. रवि ने तेलंगाना की राजधानी हैदराबाद में इस मॉडर्न सेवा का उद्घाटन किया। Quantum 5G के तहत बीएसएनएल ने फिक्स्ड वायरलेस एक्सेस (FWA) सेवा की शुरुआत की है, जो यूजर्स को हाई-स्पीड इंटरनेट कनेक्टिविटी उपलब्ध कराएगी। कंपनी का इरादा यह है कि जल्द ही इस सेवा को देश के अन्य शहरों में भी शुरू किया जाए। बीएसएनएल ने अपने X पोस्ट में लिखा, “श्री ए. रॉबर्ट जे. रवि ने हैदराबाद में क्रांतिकारी BSNL Quantum 5G FWA (फिक्स्ड वायरलेस एक्सेस) सेवा का सॉफ्ट लॉन्च किया। अब चुनिंदा शहरों में लाइव है। बीएसएनएल क्यू-5जी एफडब्ल्यूए के साथ बिजली की रफ्तार से इंटरनेट का अनुभव करेंटेलीकॉम कंपनी ने अब चुनिंदा सर्कल्स में अपनी Quantum 5G FWA सेवा की शुरुआत कर दी है। यह सेवा खासतौर पर बिजनेस और एंटरप्राइज यूज़र्स के लिए पेश की गई है, यानी आम ग्राहकों को अभी इसका लाभ नहीं मिलेगा। कंपनी का कहना है कि यह देश की पहली ऐसी 5G FWA सेवा है, जो न तो किसी तार की जरूरत रखती है और न ही सिम कार्ड की। इसे पूरी तरह स्वदेशी तकनीक के ज़रिए विकसित किया गया है और उसी के आधार पर लोगों तक पहुंचाया जाएगा।Quantum 5G FWA सेवा केवल हाई-स्पीड इंटरनेट डेटा प्रदान करेगी, इसमें वॉयस कॉल की सुविधा शामिल नहीं होगी। इस सर्विस की शुरुआती कीमत 999 रुपये प्रति माह रखी गई है। गौरतलब है कि कुछ दिन पहले ही BSNL ने अपनी 5G सेवा के नाम को लेकर आम जनता से सुझाव मांगे थे
