About MARs Youth Empowerment
MARs stands for Migrants, Asylum seekers and refugees youth empowerment right and we are a youth group aged from 15-25 trying to educate the young MARs communities of their rights and also about their documentation status and it's meaning they, so we as the youth come together and try to raise awareness and come up with solutions around documentation, accessing tertiary education and various other issues that affect young migrants, asylum seekers and refugees youth in South Africa but also combate the socio-economic injustices we face as young migrants, asylum seekers and refugees in South Africa. We also practice peace, harmony, respect and also are very inclusive in terms of promoting social cohesion.
