*Looking for a fun bank holiday activity?* Clwb Y Ddraig Gwaunmeisgyn is hosting Taff Rocks to run a freestyle rock painting workshop! Today we received our new tri-fold leaflets! These leaflets now include both Taff Rocks and Smyrna, Aberfan information. Over time, we may tweak these to suit our growing needs and prepare them for the next print run. Here are the fabulous results of the train themed rock painting workshop last night, 18th February. This workshop was provided for free to all community members by the *Three Valleys Community Rail Partnership* for the *Railway 200* celebrations. These rocks will be set free on the Trevithick Trail for another part of the celebrations, the *Trevithick and Merthyr Railways Heritage Walk*, due on Friday 21st. Our _casting director_ has recently finished casting 150 pieces for a local Non-Profit community organisation. Here they all are, drying at Smyrna. Before they can be painted, we're looking for volunteers to help with the undercoating at a *free* workshop scheduled for Tuesday 4th March. There are two workshop booked for that date so you can select your own time when booking in. These workshops are for adults but children can attend the evening Freestyle Workshop scheduled for the same day.
