*CBSE Board Exam Twice a Year For Class 10th* CBSE Board 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start holding board exams for class 10 twice a year in a new reformed curriculum starting from academic year 2026. The new system introduces flexibility in board exams for class 10 and 12, making appearing for both exams optional. Those who do not score well or are unsatisfied with their scores in the first attempt will get another opportunity within the same academic year. This change is in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and will enable students to avoid stressful situations during exams and attain best scores for the final result card. *CBSE Class 10 Students Board One of Two Exams Optional* The decision was made during a high-level meeting led by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. As mentioned in the tweet by the Ministry, the meeting included the Secretary of School Education, CBSE Chairperson, senior officials and representatives from the Ministry of Education and CBSE global schools, aimed at students being relieved of exam stress. The two exams will be scheduled with a fixed gap between them, allowing students sufficient time for preparation. Pradhan had also announced that the draft plan for this change would be released for the public soon. This change came in light of the stress students feel during the exam season, aimed to mitigate the stressed environment for students practically.
