*Measles cases are rising in Hackney* UKHSA has reported an increase in measles in Hackney and is encouraging people to check that they and their children have had two doses of the MMR vaccine. Measles spreads very easily among those who are unvaccinated, especially in nurseries and schools. It can some children can be serious, leading to hospitalisation and complications – and in rare cases can tragically cause death. Immunisations are our best line of defence against diseases like measles and help stop outbreaks occurring in the community. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/measles/
