The state-of-the-art IWT terminal at Assam’s Jogighopa on River Brahmaputra - National Waterway 2 - will play a key role in improving logistics & connectivity in the North Eastern Region & foster trilateral trade between India, Bhutan and Bangladesh. The terminal was inaugurated on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 by Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Shri Sarbananda Sonowal in an event held in Bongaigaon in Assam.
