Hi all. I've looked at the overnight crimes for the last few days and there were two crimes reported, one being a harassment and the other a residential burglary.

Back in September 2024 we conducted a drugs warrant in Ham, a male was arrested and we are pleased to say the court case has finished. Joe Roy Rabbetts 11/01/2002 was sentenced to 32 months in prison for pocession of drugs with intent to supply. Great work from the team and everyone involved.

There has been an increase in residential burglaries around the Richmond area. The current MO is that they are targetting large properties for their safes and jewellery, which have a high value. They are entering via the back of the properties by smashing the doors. Please be vigilant and aware. If you have wireless ring door bells and CCTV, please make sure they have an SD Card back up inserted as they are used a signal blocker to block the alarm systems and CCTV. Please share this with friends and family within the Petersham area, where a lot of these larger properties are situated.
