A police officer on foot patrol was flagged down by a friendly resident who was curious about the officer’s equipment, including the radio and body-worn video (BWV). She was delighted to learn more about the gadgets and pleased to see a Bobby on the beat in her neighbourhood.
Temporary Road Closure Announcement A minor water pipe burst has caused a temporary road closure near Little Waitrose, at the junction of Station Road, Oldfield Road and Percy Road. Thames Water will complete the repair work on 23rd February 2025. Please plan your journey / walk accordingly.
The team have been out and about on the ward this morning with patrol around station road ,High Street and Broad Lane. PC Singh and PCSO on duty with PC Bastos assisting response team .
