Dear Patients We would like to inform you about the “Pharmacy First” scheme, an initiative in the UK designed to provide quick and convenient access to treatment for a range of common health conditions. This scheme allows you to receive advice and treatment directly from your local pharmacy without needing to see a GP first. The “Pharmacy First” scheme can treat the following seven conditions: 1. Acute Coughs 2. Sore Throats 3. Nasal Congestion/Sinusitis 4. Earache or ear infections 5. Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) in women aged 16-65 6. Impetigo 7. Minor Skin Conditions (e.g., eczema, acne, insect bites) To take advantage of this scheme, follow these steps: 1. Visit Your Local Pharmacy: You do not need an appointment; simply go to your participating local pharmacy. 2. Speak with the Pharmacist: Inform the pharmacist about your symptoms. They will assess your condition and provide appropriate advice or treatment. 3. Receive Treatment: If your condition can be managed by the pharmacist, they will provide the necessary medication or refer you to another healthcare professional if needed. Dear Patients, We want to inform you that there have been ongoing issues with generating T Quest forms across Southeast London over the past few weeks. These forms are essential for requesting blood and pathology tests, and the intermittent system problems mean that we may not always be able to generate them immediately. As a result, we may need to ask patients to return later when the system is working. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience during this time. We have been reassured that resolving this issue is a priority, and we are doing our best to manage the situation.
