In honour of the national state burial, our offices will close at 13:00 today to allow our staff to attend the Founding Father’s memorial service. HONOURING A NATIONAL HERO | The remains of the Founding President and Father of the Namibian Nation, H.E. Dr Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma arrived in the capital this morning ahead of the State Memorial Service and Burial this weekend Our team joined other Windhoek residents who gathered along Dr. Sam Nujoma Drive to pay our last respects to our fallen hero. As we pay tribute to President Nujoma’s extraordinary life, we reaffirm our commitment to upholding the values he championed, those of unity and solidarity in developing our beloved Namibia. Our thoughts are prayers are with the Nujoma, Mushimba and Kondombolo families during this difficult time.

NAMIBIA-EU TRADE STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT | Yesterday, key stakeholders gathered at the Investment House for an insightful dialogue on the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), exploring trade barriers and opportunities between Namibia and the European Union (EU). Participants shared their experiences, highlighting both opportunities and challenges in accessing EU markets, with a focus on streamlining trade processes and overcoming regulatory barriers. Ms. Letizia Gerli, EU Trade Counsellor, engaged with industry representatives, importers and exporters to gain deeper insights into the obstacles faced by Namibian businesses when trading with the EU. The discussion also covered the outcomes of the EPA post evaluation, providing valuable feedback for future policy considerations.
