In Matthew 13:18--23, we are taught that the seeds GOD is planting in our lives contain the ability to produce spiritual fruits, but the growth of these seeds will depend on *you!* Before the seeds of revelation, love, faith, and power can germinate, grow and produce fruit in your life, certain conditions must be met: 1. They must be sown in fertile soil. 2. They must receive proper care and nourishment. Unless these conditions are met, the spiritual seeds will remain dormant and unproductive in our lives. It takes spiritual energy. The power for us to possess the same characteristics CHRIST possessed is in those spiritual seeds but we must nurture them through prayers, fasting, special times of communion with GOD, and allow the Word to take root within us before we will begin to grow and become transformed into His image [2 Corinthians 3:18]. Our hearts must be receptive. Many times the Word falls upon a heart that has been hardened, or the believer fails to understand the Word. As a result, the seed is unable to penetrate and take root in the heart and produce results. This same principle is true regarding all the new seeds of revelation, love, faith and power that GOD is planting in our lives. Our minds will need to be renewed through the Word. However, before we can cultivate the growth of these new seeds of revelation, love, faith, and power, we must know Satan's strategies to steal, hide and choke these seeds. To ignore him or be afraid of him is to invite him to come in and operate. 1. When the Word falls upon a believer's heart that is not receptive or lacks understanding, Satan snatches it out of his/her heart [vs 19]. 2. Satan brings persecution or trials and, if the Word has not taken root or the believer is not established in the Word, the spiritual fruit withers and dies [vs. 20--21]. 3. Satan uses diversionary tactics -- the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches - to "choke" the Word and make it ineffective in the believer's heart [vs. 22].

*MATTHEW 13:18--23*>> Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. *19* When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. *20* But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; *21* Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. *22* He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word: and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. *23* But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Mark 11:22--23 talks about the kind of faith that everyone would like to have. We pray for it, we seek it, we struggle in our spiritual lives for such faith... the kind that removes mountains and does exploits for GOD. There is no merit or ability or gift which we possess by our own struggling. That is one thing GOD will never allow. However, in seeking to obtain faith, men have in effect tried to put GOD in a vulnerable position. In doing this they have caused much confusion and frustration. The struggle to have faith has caused untold stress, unnecessary hurt and wounding in the Kingdom of GOD in the lives of people who have not been able to get healed. The struggle is real and evident, but it attempts to make GOD vulnerable. The blame for failure is put on GOD. They ask, "Why, GOD, am I not healed?" GOD will not be vulnerable to any man... to man's intellect or to his/her measure of spirituality. That is why I say that man has nothing in himself/herself but that he/she receives it from above. When we get gifts and fruits from GOD, they are perfect. We need not to struggle or fight to receive them or to perfect them. When JESUS said, "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing" [John 15:5]. The branches do not produce the fruit. The life comes from the Vine. We, the branches, just bear the fruit. That includes GOD'S faith.

One of the greatest strengths that we have against Satan's attacks upon our lives is our ability through the power of the Holy Spirit to intercede in a consistent time of prayer. We must come to a place of brokenness before GOD where we are willing to pay the cost, regardless of what it may be, to have a new and fresh manifestation of His Spirit in our lives. It takes *spiritual energy* to bring about results in your life. We must be willing to "plow up the hardness of our hearts, otherwise the good seed will be wasted among the thorns" [Jeremiah 4:3]. You must be willing to get alone with GOD... to weep... travail... to wait before Him with a specific goal in mind. You must have a single-minded determination to get rid of all the "weeds" that have grown and infested your heart and mind. This spiritual preparation is so vital. It cannot be done haphazardly or in haste. Once you have "plowed" up the stony ground in your heart and removed all the distractions, be prepared to receive the revelation that GOD is going to bring forth in your life a NEW manifestation of His love, faith, power, and revelation knowledge. It must be mixed with faith; you must EXPECT GOD to begin a new work in your life. Just as the disciples received the promise of "new power from on high" and went back into Jerusalem with "great joy praising GOD" for what He was going to do in their lives, you must by faith begin to praise GOD for these new and fresh manifestations that are going to come forth in your life [Isaiah 61:11]. Faith is a spiritual resource that comes from GOD. When you are born again, faith is imparted -- GOD'S faith. Because it is not our faith, it can encounter every trial, every circumstance, every problem, and can make us more than conquerors over every situation... because it is not *our* faith. Faith is not something you work up. It is not a demonstration of mind over matter. You cannot get faith by memorizing every scripture of faith in GOD'S Word. You cannot get faith by struggling for it any more than you can get love by struggling for it...or joy...or peace. That is why I say man has nothing in himself but that he receives it from above. When it's GOD'S faith, it never changes. It never fluctuates. It is always there. Your faith life is consistent because it is GOD'S faith... the faith of GOD... extended in you and through you... from the Vine (JESUS CHRIST) through the branches (you) to the fruit (love, joy, peace, FAITH, etc.). If the LORD GOD depended on what you call faith, your faith, He would be in terrible trouble. What gives us our confidence is the fact that He is not depending on our faith at all. He is depending on HIS FAITH flowing through us... His love flowing through us...His joy flowing through us... His peace flowing through us. That is why GOD has confidence to send us out. He knows we have the faith to accomplish the task He has given us in this Endtime Harvest Cycle. It *must* be GOD'S FAITH. This is the only POWER that does not fail. Isaiah 42:9 teaches us that the ALMIGHTY GOD wants to plant new seeds within the innermost being of His people...seeds of REVELATION... LOVE... FAITH... POWER! Seeds that will GROW AND PRODUCE FRUIT UNTIL JESUS CHRIST COMES! GOD wants to work within His people to cleanse, transform, strengthen, and restore every aspect of their lives... spirit, soul and body! *Through a new seed of revelation*... our eyes are going to be opened and, as never before, we are going to be able to understand who we are in CHRIST and what belongs to us as children of GOD and joint-heirs with JESUS CHRIST. We will receive a new revelation of all the things GOD has prepared for us to partake of during this Endtime Harvest Cycle. And we will walk in a new awareness of the authority that we have in JESUS CHRIST. *Through a new seed of love*... we will begin to experience GOD'S love flowing through us in a greater dimension, and our actions will be governed by a new commandment of love. We will experience a new depth of love and commitment to GOD and a new relationship with our brothers and sisters in the LORD, where we will be "knit" together in a greater bond of love. *Through a new seed of faith*... we are going to be able to appropriate the faith that is already ours through JESUS CHRIST to meet the needs of our lives. We will begin to step out in the faith of JESUS CHRIST to lay hands on the sick, to witness, to cast out demons. *Through a new seed of power*... we will experience a new strength in our inner beings. We will rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit to go into our communities and among our families and friends in a demonstration of power with signs following. We will experience a new boldness as we resist Satan in the power and authority that CHRIST has given us. The only thing that is going to help us stand while everything around us is being shaken is the... INFALLIBLE, IMPREGNABLE WORD OF GOD! The word "infallible" means "no margin for error; incapable to mislead or deceive." There is no doctrine or theology of man that is infallible. Very few theories stand the test of time. We are constantly in a "state of learning and change." Now, listen carefully. You and I cannot afford the spiritual luxury of change. We must know that we know that we know! And, in order to have this position of strength, we must have our faith fixed to that which is infallible. Don't put your trust in man... Don't put your trust in man-made doctrines... Don't put your trust in denominations...they are subject to change; they are subject to error; they are ABLE to mislead or deceive you. Keep your faith and trust in the INFALLIBLE WORD OF GOD! Not only is GOD'S Word incapable of deceiving or misleading, it is IMPREGNABLE, which means that it is "incapable of being taken by assault." It cannot be captured. It cannot be bound!
