*Ⓜ️eaning and Benefits of Alhamdulillah Subhanallah, Allahu akbar* In hadith Riyad As-Salihin book 16, hadith 12 it mentions all the sins of a person will be forgiven even if it could cover the surface of the sea. This would be done for the person who recite subhanallah thirty three times, alhamdulillah thirty three times, and allahu akbar 33 times, and then recites la ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ala kulli shai’in Qadir once for a total of 100 dhikr. In Sahih Bukhari 3113, The Prophet (saws) said, “Shall I tell you a thing which is better than what you asked me for? When you go to your beds, say: ‘Allahu Akbar (i.e. Allah is Greater)’ for 34 times, and ‘Al hamdu Li llah (i.e. all the praises are for Allah)’ for 33 times, and Subhan Allah (i.e. Glorified be Allah) for 33 times. This is better for you than what you have requested.” ______ *🔔Follow us on WhatsApp channel:* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaA5shYG3R3qrx9fpv23

The way you treat your parents says more about *your character than many words*— regardless of who you are. _The way you speak to your parents reflects who you truly are, no matter how old you are._ Your words towards your parents are a `mirror of your own soul.` Allah says: *وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعۡبُدُواْ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ وَبِٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ إِحۡسَٰنٗاۚ إِمَّا يَبۡلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ ٱلۡكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَوۡ كِلَاهُمَا فَلَا تَقُل لَّهُمَآ أُفٍّ وَلَا تَنۡهَرۡهُمَا وَقُل لَّهُمَا قَوۡلٗا كَرِيمٗا* _“And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and be kind to parents. If one or both of them reach old age while with you, do not say to them a word of disrespect (such as ‘uff’), nor scold them, but speak to them with noble words.”_ (Surah Al-Isra, 17:23) A `powerful example` is found in the story of Asmāʾ bint Abī Bakr (ra). Her mother was initially a polytheist. One day, she came to Asmāʾ seeking assistance. Asmāʾ asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: عن أسماء بنت أبي بكر قالت: قدمت علي أمي وهي مشركة في عهد قريش إذ عاهدوا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مع أبيها، فاستفتت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قالت: يا رسول الله إن أمي قدمت علي وهي راغبة أفأصل أمي؟ قال: «نعم، صلي أمك». “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has come to me while she is still a disbeliever. Should I maintain ties with her?” The Prophet ﷺ replied: *“Yes, maintain ties with your mother.”* (Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 2620; Sahih Muslim, no. 1003) ```Beware of those who treat their parents with harshness, disrespect, or coldness.```

🌸 ```Be a Mother Who Raises the Next Generation of Righteousness``` Dear sisters, aspire to be a woman who learns her Deen, so you can be the one to teach your future children. The scholars have mentioned *how the mother is the first school for her children and if she is righteous, then they too will be righteous.* _What is the reasoning behind this? Why is the mother considered to be the first school for her children?_ Well, that's because a mother plays such an important role on the upbringing of her children. She spends most of the time with them, raising them and making the home environment *a place of love, care and Islamic upbringing for them.* If you were to take a look back at the *greatest 'Ulama* such as Imam Ahmad, they all had mothers who taught them, who would bring them to the masajid, who would nurture them upon true Islamic upbringing. _So one of the key factors and reasons to why a Muslim woman should be a learnt individual, is so she can pass it on and teach it to her children._ May Allah make us from amongst such women, Aameen!

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about a Fitan Anas bin Malik (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Before the Hour there shall be Fitan like a portion of the dark night. Morning will come upon a man as a believer, who will be a disbeliever in the evening, and evening will come upon a believer, who will be a disbeliever in the morning, people will sell their religion for goods of the world." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2197, Book 33, Hadith 40) May Allah protect us from the trials to come, from not safeguarding our imaan and from the temptations and trials of this world - Ameen!

`"I am among the sinners, how can I advice people?"` Imam Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said: *"If only the perfect, and those free from sins, gave advice nobody would have ever advised anyone after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ because there is no perfection for anyone after him."* [Lata'if al-Ma'arif, pg. 19]

*اللهم بلغنا رمضان ونحن في صحة وعافية، وأنت راضٍ عنا، واغفر لنا ذنوبنا، وطهر قلوبنا، وأعنَّا على الصيام والقيام، واجعلنا فيه من المقبولين.* Ya Allāh, allow us to reach Ramadan in good health and well-being while You are pleased with us. Forgive our sins, purify our hearts, grant us the ability to fast and pray, and make us among those who are accepted. آمين ياربّ!
