*Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo* *Pastor Chris* *Tuesday, 3rd June 2025* *THE EXTRAORDINARY LIFE OF THE MASTER* *(Everything About The Lord Jesus Was Extraordinary)* *TO THE BIBLE: _Mark 4:41 KJV “And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him.”_* *LET’S TALK* Every moment of the Lord Jesus’ life on earth was nothing short of extraordinary. His death, burial, and resurrection were just as extraordinary. Normally, a person crucified on a cross would take at least thirteen hours to die. But Jesus, after only six hours, willingly gave up His spirit. As He hung on the cross, He cried out to God, saying, “…Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” Having said this, He breathed His last. (Luke 23:46). A soldier, wanting to confirm He was really dead, pierced His side with a spear. To everyone’s shock, blood and water flowed out—proof that His heart had ruptured. They didn’t expect Him to die so quickly. His resurrection was also extraordinary. Upon the request of the Jewish leaders, the Romans had sealed the grave where He was buried with a huge stone and assigned armed soldiers to watch it. On the third day, an angel, glittering like the sun, came down from heaven and moved the great stone away and sat on it, and the Lord Jesus gloriously emerged from the grave. He was later with His disciples for forty days and forty nights. On the day He was to ascend from the earth, He didn’t suddenly disappear. While talking with His disciples and giving them instructions, He levitated from the ground, defying gravity. His disciples watched in utter amazement as He kept ascending, until He went all the way into the clouds. What an extraordinary moment! The Bible says one day—and it’s not very far away—this same Jesus will return in an extraordinary fashion, and the whole world will see Him. It’s going to be a most glorious day, and we’re getting ready for it. He’s called us to an extraordinary life of glory, excellence and grace, and He wants us to make this life known to others and prepare them for His glorious return. *GO DEEPER* *John 21:25* And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TEEVO PASTOR CHRIS WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4TH 2025 MORE THAN A RELIGIOUS BOOK (There Are No Contradictions In The Bible) TO THE BIBLE: 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” LET’S TALK “If Jesus died on Friday and rose on Sunday, where’s the third day and night?” Zane asked, puzzled. “Who said He died on Friday?” Andrea replied, raising an eyebrow. “Wait, maybe we’re assuming the Bible said something here that it never did, and there’s really no contradiction,” Ren suddenly realized, eyes widening. “Maybe you did,” Andrea quipped with a knowing smile. The Bible is a trustworthy book that contains God’s inspired Word, giving us guidance for life. But some people try to challenge it, claiming certain details are contradictory. For example, when talking about Jesus’ resurrection, the Bible says He rose on Sunday morning after being in the grave for three days and three nights. Some, have asked, “How does that add up if He died on Friday?” Well, the Bible never said Jesus died on a Friday. Many assume this because it mentions that He died the day before the Sabbath, and most people know Saturday is the Sabbath. But this wasn’t the usual weekly Sabbath. It was the Passover Sabbath, a special holiday that happened on the 14th day of the month of Nisan every year. This means it could fall on different days of the week, just like Christmas lands on different weekdays each year. That year, the 14th of Nisan was on a Thursday, meaning Jesus was crucified on Wednesday, the day before the Passover Sabbath. Matthew, Mark, and Luke don’t mention this detail, but John makes it clear: “The Jewish leaders didn’t want the bodies hanging there the next day, which was the Sabbath (and a very special Sabbath, because it was Passover week)...” (John 19:31 NLT). The purpose of this isn’t to criticise the celebration of Good Friday; no. Rather, it’s to show that Jesus was accurate when He said, “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matthew 12:40). He was crucified on Wednesday, and before dawn on Sunday He had risen. This also shows that the Bible is trustworthy. You can trust its writings because it’s more than a religious book; it’s the testimony of God! GO DEEPER 1 Corinthians 2 & Psalms 107-108 PRAY Dear Father, your Word is trustworthy and true; it’s a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. You must give your tithes. Not doing so is a way of paralysing your own finances. Tithing is the revelation of circumcision. 🔵There are two kinds of people in the world when it comes to financial matters. ▪️We have the PRODUCERS and the CONSUMERS. It's a choice you make in life. As a player among producers or among consumers. If you don't make that decision, it will be made for you, there is no fence. 🔵The problem is, most people are not raised to be successful, so they are going to make same mistakes their generations made and which their children are being set up to make. 🔵There are certain people who just would not change and you wonder why all their lives long, they have been consumers. Normal people, when they fall down, they get up but the poor continue holding on to their lives. 🔵You determine your path in life while you are young and if you don't change it to the right direction, when you are old you will continue in it and become an expert in doing wrong. 🔵Some people have perfected their practise of wrong thinking, wrong words. 🔵Poverty is for the one who would not be taught. 🔵There is the general understanding that it is up to God to bless you specially to make it in life, otherwise, no matter what you do, its not gonna happen. This was true, very true. It's in the old testament, God said it, and that He only gives it to whosoever He wills. But its not true that He blesses those he chooses to bless and make rich those he chooses to. That used to be but its no longer true. ✅When Jesus came as Gods representative and man's representative, when he gave his life for us, he bought the whole field with his life and paid for everything so he could get the treasure and this treasure is the church. ✅He paid for everything with his life. And he has made us heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. 🔵After the resurrection of the lord Jesus, and he being made the head of the church, every member of the church, who is born again is a joint heirs with Christ. 🔵There is no God trying to make you rich or wealthy, all that ended with Christ. From Christ, we are heirs. 🔵Being financially blessed is not a miracle. Financial prosperity is not a miracle, it has ceased to be a miracle. It is not God's choice, it's a done deal. There are only two places that you can work and expect to become rich, that is, only two persons you work for and you will not be poor... It is either you work for yourself or you work for God. Every other one will take advantage of you. 🔵God is asking about where you are now and not where you were. If you love the job, become an employer of labour else the cycle will continue. 🔵Political office is not for making money, it's not a business. It's a place of service. It's not possible to keep stolen money, you may keep it for a while but it will come out ⭐FIRST, it's important to have the right mentality, to know who you are in Christ, from that perspective, you start taking steps to do the things that God wants you to do. ⭐When you receive money, the first thing to do with it is your tithe, you pay it. It's a payment, you owe him your tithe. ⭐SECONDLY, its important to know there are special offerings, the most important is your first fruit. This is a special offering that belongs to God, it was revealed before the tithe. ⭐Offerings are Gods insurance policy for his children irrespective of their present status or level. He says in doing so, the works of your hands will be blessed. ⭐THIRDLY, your seed offerings. This is between you and God. 🔵Bing poor or being rich is a choice in the earth. Until you make up your mind and say you are tired and change your situation. 🔵When the lord is telling you to do something, do it because he knows what he is planning for you. *Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional* _Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD_ _Tuesday June 3rd 2025_ *GOD’S IDEA FOR YOUR PROSPERITY* _And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work_ *(2 Corinthians 9:8)* When you align your life with God’s instructions, for example, in the area of finances, one of the immediate blessings you’re likely to observe is that your expenditure keeps getting lower. It’s another facet of God’s blessing. He doesn’t just bless you by increasing your income, He also blesses you by reducing your expenditure. Why is that so? It’s part of the result of the grace of God at work in your life; recall what we read in our opening scripture. Furthermore, He also made provision to keep the devourer away from you: *“...I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts"* (Malachi 3:11). The devourer is Satan or whatever he uses to consume or eat away your resources and your finances. Examples are damages, repairs and losses leading to high cost of maintenance. The Bible says, *“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it”* (Proverbs 10:22). God won’t bless you and then have you toil, struggle and spend so much to keep or maintain what He’s given you. His idea for your prosperity is addition or multiplication and abundance, not replacements. But you must act on His Word. He instructs you to bring your tithes, offeringsand oblations and challenges you to prove Him. He says not only will you receive an abundance, the devourer will have no access to what belongs to you. In other words, you won’t have a car that constantly needs repairs. You’ll suffer no damage or losses requiring costly fixes. Consider yourself so blessed that everything that comes to you works perfectly, lasts long and serves its purpose. Just as you’re God’s excellent handiwork, fashioned for good works, He has also ordained for your possessions to last, your resources to be preserved, and your finances to be supernaturally sustained. This is yourreality in Christ. The key is speaking and doing His Word. *CONFESSION* _The devourer has no place in my life, my finances, or my possessions, because I’m a doer of the Word. I walk in supernatural prosperity, where my income increases and my expenditure is divinely reduced. I live in perpetual abundance, in Jesus’ Name.
