Some of the accredited programmes are BNSc. Nursing Science, BSc. Public Health, BSc. Physiotherapy, BSc. Human Nutrition and Dietetics, BSc. Computer Science, BSc. Biology, BSc. Geology, BSc. Early Childhood Education among others. ___ *SLU gets NUC full accreditation to run 12 new programmes* The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation status to twelve undergraduate Programmes of Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa (SLUK). The approval which was conveyed to the University vide a letter referenced NUC/ES/412/VOL.14/387 and dated 30th April, 2025, signed by the Acting Director of Accreditation, Engineer Abraham Chundusu, entails that B.Sc. Accounting, B.Sc. Business Management, B.Sc. Economics, B.Sc. Geography and B.Sc. Sociology taught in the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences have gained the five year full NUC accreditation status. *JAMB ADMITS ERRORS IN 2025 UTME* __ The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Bo byard (JAMB) has announced the rescheduling of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for 379,997 candidates in *_Lagos and the five states of the South East._* The affected candidates will start getting text messages for a reschedule. ___ *All affected candidates will be contacted to reprint their exam slips to retake the exam.* __ In a surprising turn of events, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially acknowledged that errors occurred during the conduct of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), adversely affecting the performance of many candidates. Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, the Registrar of the Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, admitted that technical issues disrupted what should have been a smooth process. *โWhat should have been a moment of joy has changed due to one or two errors,โ* he stated. The widespread low scores have sparked concerns among parents, school administrators, and education stakeholders, some of whom have called for an independent investigation. Several affected candidates are reportedly considering legal action against JAMB.
