Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: _"Friday prayer is one of the most important obligations in Islam, and one of the greatest gatherings of the Muslims. Gathering on Friday is more important and more obligatory than any other gathering apart from ‘Arafah. Whoever neglects it, Allāh will place a seal on his heart."_ [Zaad Al-Ma’aad | Book 3, Pg. 31-32]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: *_"Whoever knows himself becomes busy with rectifying himself instead of being busy with the faults of the people & whoever knows his Lord becomes busy with Him instead of being busy with the desires of himself."_* [al-Fawa’īd | Pg.94]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: _“Friday is the day when the people of Paradise will receive the ever-increasing reward. It is the day when they will see Allāh, the Exalted. Those who were the earliest to go to the mosque on Friday will be the first to receive this honor. Thus, the nearest to Allāh were those nearest to the Imam on Friday. The residents of Paradise are eager for Friday, the day of such increase, due to the honor they will receive on that day.”_ [Zaad Al-Ma’ad | 1/59-65]

*Sa’at al Istijabah:* Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: _“A time when duās will be accepted is during the last hour of ‘Asr on Jumu’āh.”_ [Zaad al-Ma’ad | 1/104]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: _"One of the signs of someone who truly knows Allāh is that they don't grieve over what they lose, nor do they become overly happy with what they gain. This is because they see everything as temporary and fading away, recognizing that in reality, they are just like shadows and illusions."_ [Madarij al-Salikin | 3/318]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: _"And Allāh has decreed a decree that cannot be repelled or rebutted;_ • _The one who loves a matter besides Allāh will be punished by way of it (i.e. love of worship)._ • _The one who fears other than Him will have that thing overcome him._ • _The one who is preoccupied by an affair away from Allāh will have it become a calamity upon him._ • _Whomsoever gives precedence to other than Allāh will not be blessed in it._ • _Whomsoever pleases other than Him, at the expense of angering Allāh, Allāh will cause them to become discontent with him, and that is guaranteed."_ [al-Waabil al-Sayyib]

*Gratitude in the Shadow of Gaza* Imām Ibn al-Qayyim said: _"Shukr is to display the effects of the blessings of Allāh upon the tongue by way of praise and acknowledgement; in the heart by way of witnessing and love; and upon the limbs by way of submission and obedience."_ See Madārij as-Sālikīn [2/246] *Reflections:* ❖ Every meal we eat say Alhamdulillāh. Not out of habit, but from the depths of our heart. In Gaza, families face hunger that doesn’t end. ❖ Be grateful for the privilege of choice. Meat or chicken, eat-in or takeout, these aren’t rights. These are luxuries. In Gaza, they ask not what to eat, but if they will eat. ❖ Thank Allāh for the safety of our homes and the silence of our nights. Parents in Gaza cover their children with their own bodies, shielding them from falling bombs day and night. ❖ Never take ease for granted. What we enjoy in seconds is what a child in Gaza is begging Allāh for in terror, in the dark. 🖊️ Abū Ismā’īl https://t.me/abuismailnotes

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: _"Every time the slave has good thoughts about Allāh, perfects his hope in Him, and is truthful in his trust in Him, then indeed Allāh will never ever disappoint him nor let him down, for He does not break the hope of the hoper, nor will he waste the deeds of the doer."_ [al-Fawā’id]

*Whoever wants the aid of Allāh:* Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: _“Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah would search a lot to find people to help them with their needs. This was because he knew that everytime he helped someone then Allāh would aid him.”_ [Rawdat al-Muhibbeen | 1/168]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: *_“The land of nature is wide and accepts whatever is going to be planted in it. If you plant a tree of faith and piety, it will give the sweetness of the Hereafter and if you plant a tree of ignorance and desire, it will give bitter fruit.”_* [al-Fawā’id | Pg. 60]
