6 WAYS TO GETTING A JOB WITHOUT EXPERIENCE Having completed your tertiary education and seriously aspiring to land your first job, you come across tens of vacancies online and on the dailies that suit your profession and qualification but the requirements are so scary you dare not apply. Seeing such requirements as "maximum of 28 years, M.sc holder, and 5 years work experience", only leaves you to imagine why some employers are so unrealistic in their expectations. So instead of raising both hands in the air when you come across such, consider these few strategies to get the employer's attention. MAKE A CREATIVE RESUME โ Your CV or Resume describes you to the employer. Many times, you don't have the opportunity to meet your prospective employer in-person but the CV will speak for you. State your values and what value you intend to add to the company if hired. INCLUDE UNSKILLED JOB DETAILS โ As an entry level candidate, you may have walked in restaurants, factories, schools or have experience as an unskilled worker during your days in school, include such in your CV. Some employers are not rigid about on-the-job experience. They need candidates who have experienced the work environment at any point in life. BE CONFIDENT DURING INTERVIEWS โ Some prospective employers are looking for confident candidates, not necessarily the experience. Tell them why you are the best candidate for the position.
