πβΌοΈ CfP - Management & Business History SIG Track at the British, Academy of Management Conference πUniversity of Kent, 1β5 September 2024 The Management & Business History SIG Track is pleased to announce several exciting events planned for the BAM 2025 Conference. These initiatives aim to enhance engagement and collaboration among scholars, with a particular focus on innovative methodologies, networking opportunities, and mentoring for early-career researchers. The SIG will host specialized symposia throughout the conference, featuring cutting-edge topics in business history research. βοΈSymposium 1: Oral History as Qualitative Methodology for Business and Management. Panellists: Prof. Niall MacKenzie (University of Strathclyde); Dr. Shannon Harris (Heriot-Watt University); Prof. John Wilson (Northumbria University) βοΈSymposium 2: Challenges for Interdisciplinary Research: Myths and Opportunities for Historical Research in Business and Management. Panellists: Prof. Stephanie Decker (University of Birmingham), Prof. Emmanuella Plakoyiannaki (UniversitΓ€t Wien), Prof. Mark Saunders (University of Birmingham) Join us for a Business History sponsored networking and drinks reception during the conference. Additionally, the SIG committee is proud to launch a mentoring initiative designed to support early-career researchers in preparing and developing their conference papers.
