*NEW STEPS TO IMPROVE GRASSROOTS YOUTH FOOTBALL TO BE INTRODUCED FROM THE 2026/27 SEASON* From the start of the 2026/27 season, The FA will be launching a new progressive framework for grassroots youth football in England, which aims to further improve the experience for young players across the country – giving them more time on the ball, more time on the pitch and increasing their physical activity levels. • A new 3v3 Entry Format • Each format will be played one year later • Greater alignment with schools • Evolved Laws of the Game *Hunts FA will be hosting an in person workshop, led by The FA team, where you will have the opportunity to ask questions, share your opinions, and get clear information about the future changes.* We strongly encourage all committee members, coaches, managers and parents to attend, and would appreciate you sharing amongst your clubs and networks.
