As an artist I know the community may have certain expectations but I can only be who I am. Ego and having material success is easy to recognize and celebrate but it's not what defines me. I'm choosing to live my life with confidence and knowledge of self. Knowing who I am helps avoid the pressures that come with fame or status. My advice to you is be true to yourself. Don't let external expectations change who you are. Knowledge of self is power. Stay genuine, keep praying and stay blessed.

I can’t explain this feeling but watching my daughter grow is growing me ❤️

“Let’s think about it coz we gotta face the facts. You an artist and having a baby might hold you back”❤️💍👰🏽♀️🧑🏾🍼 FOREVER YOURS OUT FEBRUARY 14!!!

It’s been tricky learning to navigate my identity in a way that's authentic to me. I express myself in English but my music is deeply rooted in my experience of Bulawayo and Zimbabwean urban culture if you listen to my lyrics and sometimes the production I prefer. I'm proud to represent my city but I know that my individuality doesn't always fit traditional molds. Embracing my uniqueness is what makes my music genuine and true to who I am. All I can do is be me and pray those who relate, understand or just appreciate find my music and enjoy it 🙏🏾

Last week I attended #HeForShe Solidarity March @euzimbabwe yesterday in Harare. Supporting the Ministry of Women Affairs, @unwomen and @unzimbabwe I encourage all gents to stand together against GBV and uplift our Queens ❤️ #Silani #Tinemi #EUWithYou🇪🇺🇿🇼

We were thrilled that the Next Level USA program returned to Zimbabwe in July 2024 after almost 10 years to share performance & monetization nuggets with Zimbabwean MCs, beatmakers, dancers and DJs. As a follow on to the program, Asaph Afrika, Zimbabwe’s award-winning hip hop artist, traveled to the United States as part of this incredible exchange program. Through workshops, performances, and collaborations with artists from around the world, Asaph showcased the vibrant talent of Zimbabwe while learning innovative ways to use music as a tool for social change. Now back home, Asaph is ready to apply what he’s learned to uplift communities and inspire the next generation of Zimbabwean artists, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. Stay tuned for more updates and stories from this transformative program! 🎤🌟 #NextLevelExchange #HipHopForChange #ZimbabweToTheWorld #CrossCulturalConnections
