*Prof Adamu Ahmed is new Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University* Prof Adamu Ahmed has been picked as the new Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University by the institution's Governing Council. Ahmed teaches at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the institution. A one time Director of the institution's Directorate of University Advancement, Prof Ahmed is the current Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council of the Federal University of Education, Kano. Prof Ahmed's appointment was announced at 6:15 am today (Wednesday, 5th February, 2025) during the 209th (Special) Council meeting presided over by its Chairman, Mahmud Yayale Ahmed, CFR. ........................................
