The Holy Father was rapidly bronchoaspirated and non-invasive mechanical ventilation was started, with a good response in gas exchange. The Holy Father remained alert and oriented at all times, cooperating with the therapeutic maneuvers. Therefore, the definitive prognosis remains guarded.
