*ANNOUNCEMENT* STATISTICAL UPDATE Dear Cohort 1 scholars, *First assignment submission:* 430 students have submitted. *Second assignment submission:* 250 students have submitted. Your discussion group contains over 500 students while class group has over 1,000 scholars. We have laid the necessary foundation in R-programming language. From the next class, we are supposed to start diving into Data Analytics, marking the ultimate beginning of our Data Science/ Analytics journey. _However, for the next class to hold, there must be submission of not less than 400 assignments for the second assignment._ This represents about 42% of total Class members and about 80% of the Group Discussion members. You have a total of 42 days for your R-programming language in Data Analytics. 7 days are gone and about 35 days left. You still have more to learn from Dr. Olusola. If you have not submitted your assignment, please do so, don't delay other people's progress. We promised to make the journey remarkable for you all. *ANNOUNCEMENT* Hi scholars, For those who made it to cohort 1, you all are given additional one hour to submit your assignment. 343 students have submitted their first assignment in R-programming language in Data Analytics. At the end of this additional one hour, late submission attract 10 marks subtraction as penalty. Remember, you need 90% cumulative score to be able to proceed to Phase 2 at the end of this 6 months. Also, if you are already in cohort 1, we cannot guarantee that you will be re-selected again if you withdraw in attempt to be in cohort 2. Selection for cohort 2 will prioritize those who were not selected for cohort 1 in the first place. This training is free but it's going to be intense. At BTICL, our focus is not just in number.
