"Mr. President, Even if you come before the nation once more to apologize, let me tell you the truth there is no room left for mercy. You have hurt this nation beyond what words can heal. You have troubled us enough. You have burdened Kenyans enough. You have shed enough innocent blood. At this point, your fate is already sealed—not by the hands of politicians, not because of the opposition, but by the cries of the people you have betrayed. Kenyans will not rise against you because they’ve been manipulated—they will rise because they are tired of your evil. They will rise because their pain has become too great to ignore. As a man of God, I once believed in you. Many of us did. We prayed for you. We stood with you, even when things were hard. But now, you have become a total disgrace to this nation. You have broken the hearts of the very people who once looked up to you with hope. A young man, Albert Ojwang was killed under your watch who was an only child to his parents. The only light in the lives of his aging parents. Do you know what that means? They will never hear his laughter again. Never see him build a life. Never hold their son again. And at their age, they cannot have another. You have taken everything from them. That is a wound no parent can ever heal from. Only God can forgive such a thing—but a parent cannot. Mr. President, for the support the Church once gave you—we withdraw it. Completely. You have chosen evil over righteousness, and Jesus Himself told us to have no part in darkness. We will not defend you anymore. We will not stand beside you anymore. The Church is deeply disappointed. Heartbroken. Betrayed. You have turned your back on the people, and worse—you have turned your back on God. And now, we urge all Kenyans: stand firm. Stand for justice. Stand for democracy before it is crushed beneath the weight of evil. Let the voice of the righteous not be silenced. Let the blood of the innocent not be forgotten.May the soul of Albert Ojwang rest in eternal peace. And may justice—true justice—be done." Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit
