Revised dates of the 54th HFI Senior Women's National Handball Championship to be held at Bhuj, Gujarat.
🙏 Remembering M. K. Nagendra on his 82nd Birth Anniversary (6 June 1943 – 9 October 2022) A dedicated contributor to Indian handball, he served as the Treasurer of the Handball Federation of India, Chairman of the HFI Technical Committee, and Hon. Secretary of the Karnataka Handball Association. His commitment and leadership played a significant role in the growth of handball in India. We pay our heartfelt tribute to his enduring legacy.
Today, we solemnly remember and pay tribute to the former President of the Handball Federation of India, Honourable Air Vice Marshal Harkishan Lal Kapur, AVSM, PVSM, on his death anniversary.
🏆 The 2nd HFI All India Inter-District Sub-Junior Boys’ Handball Championship was successfully held at G. M. C. Balayogi Sports Complex, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana, from 17th to 20th February 2025. Hosted by the Telangana Handball Association, the tournament featured 74 districts from 15 states across India, showcasing the incredible young talent of our nation! 🥇 Champions: Sonipat (HRY) 🥈 Runners-up: Mahabubabad (TLG) 🥉 Third place: Jhajjar (HRY) & Amreli (GJT) In an intense final, Sonipat (HRY) defeated Mahabubabad (TLG) 26-17 to claim the championship title. Congratulations to all the teams for their outstanding performances! 👏 A big thank you to the players, coaches, officials, and organizers for making this event a grand success. Let's continue to grow and promote handball across India! 🇮🇳🔥 #HFI
🏆 Champions! 🏆 Services Sports Control Board clinched the title at the 53rd HFI Senior Men's National Handball Championship held at Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Hall, Ranchi from 22nd to 26th February 2025, defeating hosts Jharkhand in a thrilling final 34-32! 🔥👏 🥉 Madhya Pradesh & Punjab secured the joint third position.
