About Dwelling Places
Dwelling Places (DP) is a Christian Non-governmental Organization with extensive experience prevention and protection of victims of child trafficking and unsafe migration programming, advocacy and strategic engagement at national and regional level. Through the rescue, rehabilitation, and Reintegration program, DP has directly supported 2858 vulnerable children, providing shelter, life skills, psycho-social support, catch up education, basic health care, vocational training, Education, and family empowerment services. Vision: The vision of Dwelling Places is to see "A world where every child has a place to call home and is empowered to reach their full potential within a safe family and community setting." Mission: Rescue, Rehabilitate, Reintegrate, Educate and Advocate for street-connected children and abandoned babies to enable them reach their full potential.

We were greatly honoured to partner with The Remnant Generation to conduct the Hope Alive Gathering in Napak District. This impactful event has equipped leaders with biblical tools to catalyse positive change in their communities. Additionally, it has facilitated meaningful dialogue between men and youth and provided safe space for over 100 teenage girls to access safe motherhood services, including ultrasound scan services and skills training for empowerment.
Greetings, Dwelling Places in partnership with the Education Department of Napak District has today started its radio back to school campaign with radio messages encouraging parents/caregivers and local leaders to support the mobilisation of children to return to school. The messages will be aired on Ateker FM radio in both English and Nagakarimajong languages. If you are working in Karamoja region, kindly the share the messages widely.
