Esteemed Civil Society Organizations, In response to the exceptional demographic growth currently unfolding across Africa, where a rising number of young individuals find themselves neither in employment, education, nor training (NEET), we are pleased to launch a Call for Applications for the Youth Empowerment Summit Africa (Y.E.S Africa), organized in collaboration with the Jadara Foundation. Y.E.S Africa aims to be a flagship initiative that transforms this demographic challenge into a dynamic catalyst for positive change. Our goal is to create a nurturing ecosystem for African youth and reduce the prevalence of NEETs across the continent. To achieve this, we seek to connect a diverse array of stakeholders—including NGOs, funders, governments, and private enterprises—while strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations dedicated to youth empowerment. We warmly invite you to submit your application if your organization meets the following criteria: Legally registered as an NGO; Proven experience in empowering young people in NEET situations; Presentation of innovative projects that yield significant and sustainable impact; Demonstration of good governance and financial transparency; Capacity to implement measurable projects; Availability to participate in a capacity-building program; Ability to attend the summit, scheduled for June 19 and 20, 2025, in Marrakech, either in person or virtually. This summit represents a valuable opportunity to amplify the impact of your initiatives, exchange best practices, and mobilize funding for innovative and meaningful projects. 📌 To submit your application, please complete the form at the link: https://youthempowermentsummit.africa/form. We genuinely look forward to your participation in this significant initiative to shape the future of youth in Africa.
