Dear Samson, the Lord is not allowing your hair to grow back so you can pay back. Your personal vendetta isn't captured in God's data, and you can't smuggle it in. No wonder the same rain falls on both the righteous and the wicked. The moment Samson set his heart on revenge, he started exerting his might blindly. Yes, the Philistines had gouged his physical eyes, but not his spiritual eyes. Of course, he missed it, but he wouldn't have prayed amiss for the last time if only he had switched his sight.

The demand of Israel for a king wasn't triggered only by their desire to be like other nations, it started with the inability of the sons of Samuel to walk in the footsteps of their father. So, Israel probably wouldn't have desired to be like the other nations if the sons of Samuel were like their father. The appetite of an entire nation can likewise depend on the ability of a generation of sons to carry the mantle of their fathers. Elisha got a double portion of Elijah's spirit, and the king addressed him as father till he died.

Acts 11:20-21 "However, some of the believers who went to Antioch from Cyprus and Cyrene began preaching to Gentiles about the Lord Jesus. The power of the Lord was upon them, and large numbers of these Gentiles believed and turned to the Lord."

Exodus 32:4 NLT Then Aaron took the gold, melted it down, and molded and tooled it into the shape of a calf. The people exclaimed, "O Israel, these are the gods who brought you out of Egypt!"

The high priest asked Stephen if the accusations levelled against him were true, but he used the slot he could have used to defend himself to tactically preach the gospel. Until we die to self, we're not yet ready to represent Christ. Having observed protocols, he secured the attention of the council; when we disregard protocols, our message will also be disregarded. Then he proceeded by tracing all of them back to Abraham; always establish a common ground before introducing the uncommon. If he'd started with the gospel of Christ, they'd have shut him down immediately.

For David, Adullam was a place of refuge, after he'd, by the wisdom of God, escaped being killed by Goliath's village people. For the distressed, indebted, and discontented folks, who later became the mighty men of David, Adullam was their last resort. However, the brothers of David never saw Adullam in light of the foregoing; for them, it was just a low land they went down to, in order to be with their brother. No wonder none of them emerged as one of David's mighty men. It matters what mindset you carry to Adullam.

Deuteronomy 1:15 GNT "So I took the wise and experienced leaders you chose from your tribes, and I placed them in charge of you. Some were responsible for a thousand people, some for a hundred, some for fifty, and some for ten. I also appointed other officials throughout the tribes."

St. Matthew 21:44 NIV "Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed."

As a result of the revival at Ephesus, the sphere of commerce and economy became affected; those practising magic and sorcery had burnt their books, which cost a fortune. The silversmiths who make silver shrines for the Greek goddess Artemis, spearheaded by Demetrius, also began to lose their relevance as more of the dwellers in Ephesus were becoming obedient to the faith. Of course, it eventually led to an organised chaos. When the word of God mightily grows and prevails, it will cause trouble beyond its immediate sphere. Maybe the serenity and peaceful coexistence we're enjoying from the world's system is a sign that we ain't touching the devil where it hurts.

The devil is handicapped when it comes to creativity and inventions, he's so clueless that he needed information from Eve before he could come up with the temptation that eventually brought the 1st Adam down. Millennia passed, and he'd still not found the secret of creativity, so much so that it's the same temptation that he had to repackage for the 2nd Adam. Jesus, in anticipation of a predictable temptation, sentenced Himself to fasting. He didn't underrate the uninventive tempter because He knew something. That the tactics are familiar doesn't immune you against them, it is those who know their God (not the devil's strategy), that will be strong and do exploits.
