*EMERGENCY OUTAGE UPDATE – New Providence* Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. (BPL) advises that crews continue to address a cable fault impacting portions of the Gladstone Road South feeder and Rocky Pine Substation. To facilitate ongoing repairs, at approximately 10:15 PM, power supply was reconfigured to restore service to the following areas: • Golden Isles Road • Excellence Estates • Victoria Gardens • Sunset Meadows • Portions of Cowpen Road As a result of this configuration, customers in the Carmichael Road West and Spikenard Road areas are currently without power. Crews will maintain this configuration for approximately two hours before switching to complete additional restoration efforts. We thank our customers for their continued patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issue as safely and efficiently as possible.


*EMERGENCY OUTAGE NOTICE – New Providence* Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. (BPL) advises that an emergency outage is currently affecting customers in the western area of New Providence due to a cable fault on the Carmichael Road West circuit. Affected areas include: • Golden Isles Road • Excellence Estates • Victoria Gardens • Sunset Meadows • Sommerset Estates • Portions of Cowpen Road • Carmichael Road West • Carmichael Village • Bacardi, Boatswain Hill, Dignity Gardens, and the Spikenard area Our crews are on-site working to resolve the issue and restore power as quickly and safely as possible. We estimate that repairs may take up to *four hours*. We appreciate your patience and will continue to provide updates as they become available.


*RESTORATION UPDATE – PARADISE ISLAND* Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. (BPL) advises that restoration efforts are progressing across Paradise Island following an earlier cable fault that impacted supply to several areas. As of 10:00 PM, the following areas have been restored: • Britania Shores • Casino Drive • Convenient Center • RIU and Grand Hotel At this time, all customers who can be supplied through alternate means have been restored. Customers in Paradise Estates, Harbour Cove, Cloister Drive, Ocean Club and surrounding areas remain offline until repairs to the cable are complete. There is no estimated time of restoration at this moment. We thank all affected customers for their patience and understanding as we continue working to fully restore service.

*OUTAGE UPDATE – New Providence* Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. (BPL) advises that earlier today, an extended outage was experienced on the Windsor Field Line #2. Our teams, supported by external contractors, responded swiftly to resolve the issue, and power was successfully restored to the affected areas at 12:57 PM. By 1:36 PM, Albany Resort was also confirmed back online. Subsequently, at approximately 2:42 PM, Paradise Island Line #2 tripped offline, resulting in a disruption in portions of Atlantis Resort. Our teams are currently investigating and working to restore full service. We thank our customers for their patience and understanding as we continue to monitor and respond to these service interruptions.


*OUTAGE UPDATE* Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. (BPL) advises that a fault occurred on Subboard #2 at the Windsor Field substation, impacting customers in the Sandyport and Westridge areas. Our team has identified the issue and is currently addressing it. We will provide an update once restoration is complete. We thank affected customers for their patience and understanding.


*RESTORATION UPDATE – PARADISE ISLAND* Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. (BPL) advises that restoration efforts continue in Paradise Island following a cable fault which affected supply to multiple areas. As of this evening, the following areas are now back online: • Britania Shores • Casino Drive • Convenient Center At present, all customers on Paradise Island who can be backfed have been restored. However, customers in the following areas remain offline: • Paradise Estates • Harbour Cove • Cloister Drive Area • Ocean Club Area and surrounding streets Our teams are actively working to complete repairs on the affected cable. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a restoration estimate at this time. We are also working to restore Comfort Suites and will provide an update once restoration is complete. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue efforts to fully restore power.


EMERGENCY PLANNED OUTAGE NOTICE – NEW PROVIDENCE May 27, 2025 Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. (BPL) advises customers that supply has been temporarily interrupted in portions of New Providence to facilitate emergency low voltage (LV) maintenance. Areas Affected: • Cordeaux Avenue • Palmetto Avenue • Coconut Grove Avenue • Surrounding side streets Estimated Time for Restoration: 1 hour We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore supply as quickly and safely as possible.

OUTAGE UPDATE – Paradise Island Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. (BPL) advises that efforts to restore full power supply to Paradise Island are ongoing. While supply has been restored to some areas, including Britania Shores, Casino Drive, Convenient Center, RIU, and the Grand Hotel, other locations remain offline due to a cable fault. Areas still impacted include: • Comfort Suites • Ocean Club Resorts • Paradise Estates • Harbour Cove • Cloister Drive area • Ocean Club area and surrounding streets Our teams have located one fault and are working to identify and repair a second. Restoration for these areas is estimated to take up to 24 hours. We thank you for your continued patience and will share updates as soon as more information becomes available.
