Convocation of 54th PN Staff Course was held at PNWC, Lhr. CNS Adm Naveed Ashraf graced the event as CG. Degrees were conferred upon 118 graduates, incl 74 officers from PN, Pak Army, PAF & 44 officers from friendly countries. Naval Chief congratulated the graduating officers. CNS highlighted imp of understanding modern warfare &maritime threats & emphasized transformation in warfare marked by asymmetrical conflicts &growing influence of non-state actors & stressed need for traditional military strategies to evolve in response to complex challenges. CNS noted that IOR remains fluid & contested, with new geopolitical realignments & ongoing power rivalries impacting regional security environment. Referring to recent 4-day crisis b/w India-Pak, he remarked that it stands as testimony to the changing nature of warfare.

Pakistan Navy participated in Annual Maritime Security Conference 2025, organized by Combined Maritime Forces from 12-14 May at Bahrain. PN was represented by Commander Combined Task Force 151 (CCTF-151), Cdre Sohail Ahmed Azmie. Representatives from 46 CMF partner Nations attended the conference. Pakistan Navy's participation in the conference reflects its dedication to collaborative efforts in maintaining maritime security and stability in the region.

Operation Bunyanum Marsoos — A Testament to Pakistan Navy’s Will, Strategic Resolve, and Operational Readiness, Forging a Wall of Steel Across the Maritime Frontiers.

*NAVAL CHIEF VISITS CMH, PAYS TRIBUTE TO INJURED TROOPS OF OPERATION BUNYANUM-MARSOOS* Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi to inquire about the well-being of soldiers and civilians injured during Operation Bunyanum-Marsoos. During the visit, the Naval Chief personally interacted with each injured individual and paid tribute to their unwavering bravery, indomitable spirit, and steadfast commitment to duty. While speaking with the injured, Admiral Naveed Ashraf emphasized the unified resolve of the nation and the armed forces, affirming that any future misadventure by the adversary will be met with the same determination and vigour.

PN conducted 2-day Ex focusing on countering sub-conventional & asymmetric threats across all major ports & harbours of Pak, aimed at validating & refining Tactics, Techniques & Procedures to ensure robust defence of critical maritime infrastructure against asymmetric threats. Ex involved coord ops by PN Fleet units, Pak Marines, SSG(N) & Naval Aviation. Scenarios were designed to simulate range of sub-conventional threats incl sabotage, infiltration & unconventional attacks to enhance inter-agency coord, situational awareness & response capabilities. COMCOAST R/Adm Faisal Amin visited various operational setups at ports & harbours & witnessed live action simulations carried out by participating units. He appreciated the high level of preparedness & professional conduct demonstrated during the exercises.
