*170 unlicensed scooters seized following ban announcement* A total of 170 unlicensed scooters were seized by traffic authorities following its ban announced earlier this month on public roads, emergency lanes and other areas designated for use by cars, trucks and other vehicles.

*Proposal to ban new licences for serviced apartments approved* A proposal to ban new licences for serviced apartments across the kingdom in a crackdown by MPs on hanky panky in residential areas has been unanimously approved. *Nine government apps to be merged* Plans to merge nine government applications into the recently launched MyGov app in the eGovernment App Store at bahrain.bh/apps will be completed within a year.
