Shaykhul Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله: "And he should strive in du'aa on the afternoon of ‘Arafah. For indeed, Iblees is not seen lowly and disgraced more than on the afternoon of 'Arafah due to what he sees of mercy descending." [Majmu'ul Fataawa V26/P131 | Translated by Abu Anwar an-Naijiriyy]

Sheikh al Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said, "The expiation of taharah (wudh/ghusi), prayer, fasting Ramadan, fasting Arafah and Ashura, is for minor sins only." [Al Fatawa al Kubrā 5/344]

Sheikh ul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said, "Occupying the Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah with worship, whether in the day or night, is better than a Jihaad in which a person did not lose his life nor all of his wealth." [Fataawa Al Kubraa pg.342. v.51]

Deeds Do Not Have to be Big to be Significant | Small Deeds From the great kindness Allah has shown this ummah is that He has made it such that one good deed is multiplied 10 times up to 700 times. And He has made it such that one sin only counts as one sin. In addition to this, there are (also) things which remove sins. Helping Feed The Poor In Ramaḍān Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [رحمه الله] said: «إعانة الفقراء بالإطعام في شهر رمضان هو من سنن الإسلام، فقد قال النبي [ﷺ] 'من فطّر صائماً فله مثل أجره.'» ❝Helping the poor with food in the month of Ramadan is from the Sunnan [practice] of Islaam.
