20 May 2025 Subject: Rand Water Unplanned Maintenance – Impact on Lenasia System and Surrounding Areas Dear Councillors, As per the communication notice earlier today, Rand Water is still in the process of repairing the main supply line from the Eikenhof Pumpstation. Johannesburg Water has been closely monitoring reservoir levels and is actively arranging for alternative water supply to mitigate the impact on affected communities. Affected Areas Include: Lenasia (All Extensions) Lenasia South Vlakfontein Lehae Zakaria Park Magson Manor Alternative water supply arrangements are being finalised, all the affected Cllrs will be contacted, and updates will be provided as the situation evolves.
